Walnut Hill is a dream wedding venue, with an amazing owner. Amanda (owner) was so easy to work with. We were the first couple to book with her and you would have never guessed. She was organized, thoughtful, informational, and so kind. She was more than just the owner of the venue for us, she really gave great ideas for our wedding too. My husband and I saw walnut hill transform from the foundation/construction site to the wonderful venue it is today. I couldn’t have wished for a better place to get married.

Walnut Hill is perfect. Having two houses (one for girls, one for guys) to get ready in is a HUGE bonus. The property itself is gorgeous and provided so many areas for great photos. Our ceremony was at the Lakeside Gardens and we were obsessed from the moment we saw it. Great rain plan areas too!! Highly recommend, we received many compliments!

The minute I stepped foot onto the property I knew it was the place I wanted to say I do. I had pictured the most beautiful day with there ceremony at the open air chapel (swoon), cocktail hour outside and utilizing the sugar shack for a bar, and reception in the barn. WELL Mother nature had other plans. Luckily Amanda assured me it would all still be beautiful and the most magical day ever. SHE WAS RIGHT. she held the umbrella over me the entire time I had to be outside, and also held my train so it didn't get trashed. This place is the best. And so many options! LOVE IT!

I can't say enough amazing things about Walnut Hill, Amanda and her team! They go above and beyond to make everything so special and amazing and I just appreciate the friendship with Amanda and how comfortable she made us feel. This venue is so stunning and if I could go back and do it all over again I'd do it in a heartbeat! If you're looking for a spacious and over all beautiful location with so many great options for a ceremony spot this is the venue for you!

The best decision I made in my planning process was booking Walnut Hill as the location to pledge our love to each other. The owner, Amanda, is so sweet and easy to work with. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and offers so many different options to make sure your vision comes to life. There are multiple different options for ceremony location, a beautiful reception barn, and an incredible house to enjoy the morning of getting ready. I recommend this venue to all future brides!

Walnut Hill is truly a perfect wedding venue. Between the spacious and beautiful house to get ready in, to the multiple gorgeous ceremony locations, to the perfect reception barn...it was exactly what we were looking for! There was off and on rain on our wedding day and we didn't stress one bit because of all the options on this property. There is a covered ceremony patio, a wrap around covered front porch, and a covered patio for cocktail hour.

On top of all that, we got married during the Covid craziness and Walnut Hill was so wonderful to work with. They were understanding and helped us with the rescheduling and trying to figure out how we could still have the best experience possible.

Walnut Hill was the perfect place for our wedding ! The best part about this location is the size (openness ) and the option to use the plantation house . There are several beautiful locations to choose from to get married , ATLEAST 3 locations outside , as well as a beautiful pavilion if you want an inside ceremony . Walnut hill is a naturally beautiful location including a big pond with a fountain and alot of landscape that was captured in our wedding photos beautifully ! Not only is this venue a beautiful place to get married , but, in my opinion it is also very fairly priced. Amanda the owner is extremely helpful, kind, and punctual. She helped us achieve the wedding of our dreams . Any bride will love getting married at the beautiful Walnut Hill !

Walnut Hill is the perfect wedding venue! There are so many different options for your big day and you can't go wrong! Walking on the property is like finding your own oasis in Raleigh. It is so beautiful and unlike any other venue we have found in the area. Amanda and her team go above and beyond for all their couples. You can really tell how much they love each and every person that gets married there and will do anything to make your dreams come true!

We are getting married on 9/26/2020 at Walnut Hill. Although our wedding is still 6 months away, we can already tell how beautiful our day will be thanks to this wonderful team. Amanda the owner is accommodating, easygoing and really cares about her couples. There have been a couple instances when I wanted to go check out the venue unexpectedly with my parents while they were in town last minute, and without a doubt Amanda invited us with open arms. The open vendor policy also attracted us to Walnut Hill. We were really able to make this wedding our own and not feel like we were forced to pick from a handful of vendors. This venue has multiple ceremony cites, so you are not limited to where on the property you get married. The classic white barn adds an elegant touch to the property. The bridal suite and groom suite are large with a lot of open light, too. I could go on about this venue but we can't wait for our day and I encourage all brides to book this venue or at least check it out.
