This picturesque venue's 10 acres sits on top of a mountain, with 5,600 square feet of event space. Facilities and Capacity
Couples can host up to 295 guests at this private mountaintop venue. The spacious barn can be left open to the outside air or used as a fully enclosed space with heating and air conditioning. Large windows allow ample natural light and offer sweeping views of Walker Mountain, Sugar Run, Angel's Rest, and Cloyd's Gap. The barn also includes a prep kitchen fitted with a sink and prep space to accommodate outside caterers. Several spots for an outdoor ceremony allow you to say "I do" in front of the beautiful peaks. Separate get-ready rooms are also available to relax and prepare for you and your wedding parties.
Services Offered
Walker Creek Barn aims to create a seamless wedding experience as you celebrate. A day-of event coordinator will work with outside vendors so that you and your partner can fully enjoy the festivities. The staff will arrange tables and chairs according to your layout and set up and clean up the event. Complimentary use of the venue's decor collection, which features arches, centerpieces, drapery, and lighting, is also included. The venue can also provide a list of caterers who accommodate several budgets and preferences. Various on-site lodging options are available when the celebration draws to a close. You and your loved ones may choose to stay in their 5 waterfront vacation homes, all within a 3-mile radius of the barn. Regardless of the season, the Appalachian Mountain air and views will create a refreshing ambiance for your special day.

Gorgeous venue and owned by AMAZING people! Best decision!
Leigh and Britt are seriously amazing! I was nervous to plan my wedding back in my home state of VA while living in TX, but she made the whole process so smooth and stress free. As long as you can be understanding that she has her own life and a family (I would hope that's not an issue for anyone) and so she can’t always respond immediately (but honestly, she responds really well to nudges and still responds quickly more often than not, and was in constant contact the two weeks before my wedding), you will absolutely ADORE her! She’s down to earth, funny, flexible, and so accommodating. She has amazing vendors to recommend that made our day so so perfect, and not to mention, the venue is just gorgeous. Both the outdoor scenery and the venue itself is just perfect. The absolute perfect place and I am so so glad I chose so work with them. Not to mention, they own cabins near the venue that the wedding party and immediate family were able to stay in instead of a hotel which was a big bonus! I could not recommend having your wedding at WCB more!

Amazing venue and owners
Waller creek barn is located in my home town where I grew up it was just meant to be to have our wedding there and it was perfect. the views are amazing and perfect for a country wedding. would definitely recommend if you love mountain views.

Heavenly picturesque
Walker Creek Barn was by far the MOST BEAUTIFUL wedding venue that we have collectively ever seen! The facility more than surpassed our expectations. The owner/wedding coordinator Leigh was AMAZING! She was always a step ahead of us through the entire process...I really cannot stress enough how stress free she made our ENTIRE experience!! The INCREDIBLE panoramic views are just the icing on top of YOUR wedding cake!!! You will have NO regrets choosing Walker Creek Barn...In our opinion....there truly is NO COMPARISON!! Our experience was AMAZING!!
As a bride I was in crunch time trying to get everything together and worked out and had my mind set on another venue but I decided to go look at Walker Creek Barn. When I pulled up to the venue I bursted into tears because I knew it was the place the Lord had in store for us to be Married at! We love Leigh, Britt, and miss Sadie! They were the absolute best and fulfilled everything that we needed beyond what we asked for! I would highly recommend Walker Creek Barn or even just give it a look! 😊

Leigh and Walker Creek are amazing!
My husband and I got married on October 2, 2021 at the Walker Creek Barn and it was all a dream come true! All of our guests raved about how beautiful the barn was and were completely awestruck with the mountain views. We absolutely loved working with Leigh and her family leading up to the wedding and especially the weekend of the wedding. My husband and I live in Illinois so having a strong line of communication was crucial for us and Leigh did just that! We were also able to set everything up with their help a day before our event, and do a full walk through of the ceremony with Leigh's guidance. The venue came with a bridal suite and grooms room which were perfect for getting ready the morning of the wedding. Our ceremony would not have been complete without Leigh, she made everything run so smooth and kept everyone on time! Our caterer, DJ and linens vendor all came recommended by Leigh and since they had done weddings together before, everyone was in sync. They also had wonderful cozy cabins that our bridal party and family stayed in within a few miles from the Barn. I highly recommend Walker Creek Barn and their team to anyone looking to get married in Virginia!

Dream Wedding
Walker Creek Barn was the perfect location for our wedding in June, 2021. The view was everything I had ever dreamed of for our big day! Leigh, Britt, & Sadie were very helpful. I'm so glad that we had the opportunity to have our wedding at Walker Creek Barn. The owners were very accepting of our diverse wedding which I greatly appreciated. If you are on the fence about choosing them as your wedding venue, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND choosing them!

Amazing venue
Leigh with Walker Creek Barn was amazing to work with! My big day had to be rescheduled due to covid, but Walker Creek was so flexible and made everything come together. The venue was beautiful and my family and friends have done nothing but shower Walker Creek with praise.

Walker Creek Barn meet every expectation from the venue to the service! Leigh and her family are truly the finest! From the first time we visited Walker Creek Barn we knew it was the venue for us, the gorgeous view and personal approach immediately put us at ease when making such a big decision as to where we would celebrate the best day of our lives. Leigh from your warm welcome and total passion for your venue, we knew we wanted to get married there. From our first meeting to our final it felt like all you wanted was for us to have a wonderful wedding. Leigh definitely made our planning process stress free and smooth sailing! We are blessed to have had her as we planned and pulled off our special day. Whenever we needed something or had a question, she always was responsive, quick and always professional! She provided us with an extensive list of vendors that she has worked with and highly recommended. As our wedding day approached she was able to answer every question that a worrying bride would have regarding all the details and "what if's". Every guest without fail has mentioned how beautiful the venue was and how great the staff was on the day and we can only agree with them. I highly recommend Walk Creek Barn for your big day! You will not only have a beautiful day with a gorgeous view and barn but you will be working with one of the sweetest ladies ever! Completely Stress Free Day!
Leigh was so easy to work with prior to the wedding and she and Cassie on wedding day made the perfect team. I didn't have to worry about a thing. We were hoping for an outdoor wedding and they were willing to move indoors within fifteen minutes of start time. They were just so accommodating. I really didn't have to worry about a thing. It was truly a stress-free day for me as mother of the bride.
