From the very beginning, working with Vivi felt easy. Pregnancy is both a special and vulnerable time, and Vivi made me feel completely comfortable and genuinely beautiful!

What really stood out to me was her attention to detail. From her thoughtful location recommendation, to wardrobe suggestions and every single shot she took, everything was done through so much care. I love the locations that she recommended! The Filoli Garden and the Water Temple. They are not only stunning, but also close by, which makes them very convenient during pregnancy.

During the photoshoot, her calm and encouraging energy made such a difference. She guided my husband and me through poses in such a natural way. Her creativity shines through every detail. The pictures almost feel like a fairytale since she captured lavender and butterflies in the background. I really appreciate how thoughtful and prepared she was throughout the entire photoshoot.

When I received our photos, I was so emotional. She delivered the photos even faster than she promised because she wanted to have the photos ready for my baby shower. She captured such a meaningful moment in my life so beautifully. I never felt so elegant in photos before so I know I will cherish those images forever!

I am extremely picky about photography. After reaching out to 30 wedding photographers and interviewing 10, I knew right away when I started talking to Vivi that she was exceptional. I was impressed by how she not only had an artistic eye, but is also very thorough and organized (speaking straight to my Type A heart). Her understanding of timelines, lighting, shot lists, and event flow is unmatched. While some photographers have a “you get what you get” attitude, Vivi maintains her own distinct portfolio style while also dedicating time to understand your lighting, color, style, vibe, and editing preferences. I highly recommend booking her for both engagement and wedding photos. Not only will you get amazing photos, but you’ll also get comfortable shooting with her—which is genuinely so fun. I don’t think I’ve ever had more fun on a photoshoot than with Vivi. :) She even brought a veil and flowers to our shoot—just because she thought it would enhance the vision. That’s the kind of thoughtfulness she brings to every detail.

Most of all, Vivi is genuinely a kind, funny, energetic, and empathetic person. You can tell she loves what she does through her photos as well as the positive energy she brings to every event. After reaching out to multiple photographers, videographers, and companies that could do both, I decided on these guys because they did the most professional work out of all the vendors. My wife and I wanted a team that could do multiple creative styles and fit them into our big day. Some vendors can only do one style for photos and their videos, but I liked that since the photographer and video person were both from the same company, I would have better matching styles to the photos and videos. Somehow most of the vendors all showed me the same vintage, sephia, slow motion, memorialized style as their best work. I wanted something a bit more fun and upbeat so my guests and I could remember the occasion. They explained, they had previously done commercial and photoshoots of models and even celebrities, and so they could achieve any look I wanted because they had all the proper camera, lighting, and other equipment needed to do a professional job. In fact, they said typically photographers and videographers don’t spend the time and money on the lighting, which is more critical to achieve the proper look. I was not limited to just natural light pictures like some photographers were advocating.

We went through a key shot list to have, and decided upon the style I liked by going through some likes and dislikes. I’m really happy with the end result as it was more unique and not too cookie cutter with only a few what they called a “signature look.” My family, friends, and I loved the photos, video, and editing they did and we would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a real commercial and cinematic job.
