She was so wonderful! She made me feel very comfortable and special on my big day! She took the time to understand my vision and provide a look that corresponded with my wedding theme. She was flexible when it came to the location for getting ready, was punctual and managed her time well to ensure everyone was ready on time, and collaborated with my makeup artist to ensure a cohesive look. I highly recommend Marissa for any of your hair styling needs!

Marissa was so amazing to work with! She was very professional and kind, and she was able to make my dream wedding hair a reality! She listened to what I wanted for my hair and made it happen perfectly! She helped me feel so pretty on my wedding day by making my hair look so great. I’ve also always had a very hard time taming and managing my hair since it’s curly/frizzy, and she did such a great job with it! She even taught me a lot about my hair and curl pattern, and I’ve been getting my hair cut and styled by her since my wedding. She’s awesome!

I can't recommend Marissa enough for wedding styling. She was so sweet and had great suggestions for my day-of look. She helped me decide on a classy look that was perfect for the big day, easily incorporating my wishes, vibe, and hair pieces into the final look. She also was super professional and knocked out my bridesmaids hair, as well as my mother and mother-in-law's hair all in a timely manner. They were all ecstatic with their final looks and she was so easy to get along with - literally a win-win in every sense!

Since my wedding, I've continued to visit her for routine haircuts and color treatments and I will not go see another stylist. I wanted to embrace my natural curls on my wedding day, but also find an updo that showcased my curls - so finding a hair stylist who was comfortable working with curls was a must. Marissa was not only comfortable, she mastered it. From the trial to the wedding day, I felt seen, heard, and respected for every little request I had about my hair. Marissa was so patient and checked in with me throughout the hair styling process to ensure I was a part of every decision she made regarding the style. She respected my wishes of not using any heat and my curls not only maintained their shape, but the updo was SO SECURE and did not budge even strong winds and 3+ hours of being on the dance floor.
My only piece of feedback is we both forgot to put on my wedding veil on the wedding day, and unfortunately, I was not able to get it secured for more than a few minutes in the updo despite us successfully securing it on our trial day.
That being said, I would still 10000% recommend Marissa for any curly hair bride who is looking to embrace their curl pattern on their wedding day. She was such a joy to work with!
