When I went on the website for the first time and found the piece we had ordered, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for - something more detailed than anything I had even seen. I have a 2.4 ct. VVS1 asscher that was purchased from Blue Nile originally that was mailed to Victor which ended up going very smoothly. The experience you have with Victor and his staff is above exceptional and the result is something extraordinary with loads of detail. What was important to me is that Victor hand forges his platinum and to understand the difference you really need to see and handle the finished product - its like hot and cold in differences. He used the highest quality metals and diamonds and you can tell the difference in what is truly an heirloom quality piece. The prices are reasonable and expected for such high quality work. Would use Victor again for any speciality jewelry needs that requires something truly exceptional!

I first encountered victorcanera.com in my search for a rare, ideal antique cut cushion diamond. Victor had many of his signature antique cushions already in stock including a few that matched my criteria. There were photos and even a video that showed how brilliant this diamond was. It was quite fortuitous that I decided to purchase a diamond from victor because as it turns out, he also happens to be a master at designing and creating hand forged jewelry, a process that is not to be underestimated. I was expecting to purchase the diamond and take it somewhere else to be set in a custom setting but after reading all the excellent reviews about Victor online, I decided to work with him on a setting. I told him roughly what I was looking for, and provided him with a few photos of examples of what I was looking for. He then provided me with some additional photos of other settings to highlight certain design aspects that he suggested. We pieced together a concept and eventually agreed upon a design. He was incredibly patient with me during the planning process and educated me on some of the finer points in his jewelry making process. I was admittedly a little hesitant to place an order for a ring that I had not ever seen but in the end, he delivered an incredible work! In person, the ring is even more stunning than any photo or video could ever do justice! He is an absolute artist and a master craftsman, perhaps the only person you will find that makes his jewelry completely hand-forged. We visited Victor Canera in his shop in DTLA. Victor was friendly, not pushy at all, educating us on diamonds and jewelry. He helped my now fiancee to pick the ring of her dreams. We really appreciated that while he was easygoing, he gave us his opinion when asked for it. People should be aware that they don’t stock a lot of samples to show you. Some of the rings we were interested in were past works that he had done but we were shown high resolution videos of those designs. All of the designs are completely custom made just for you making it that much more special.
