Captured our day perfectly!
We are so glad that we chose Vanessa to capture our day! She did a wonderful job not only snapping those special moments, but also helping my husband and me (who are camera shy and sometimes awkward) pose and feel comfortable! Vanessa was also very flexible and helpful leading up to our wedding day, helping me tweak my contract to add more time and accommodating my needs in a pinch when I'd made a mistake with planning and scheduling!
We only have previews so far, but they are so beautiful and we are obsessed with them! We can't wait to see the rest of our gallery! Thanks so much Vanessa! :)

Beautiful photos with an amazing Photographer!
I just wanted to take bridal photos because I didn't have the big planned wedding in 2020 for obvious reasons! And not only that, but I wanted to take them while visiting a state I had never been to. Cue Vanessa, the most patient, communicative, lovely person. She was great helping me plan in advance. Literally no one would take that one on one time with you here in LA.
Day of was even better than I could have imagined. She planned the locations and timing perfectly. My husband and pup had a great time too. I've only gotten a taste of my photos and let me tell you, the response from my friends and family have been overwhelming.
I beg of you to choose Vanessa Ray Photography. You will not regret it and you will have gorgeous pictures you will cherish forever.

Comfortable and amazing
Vanessa is a truly amazing photographer and my husband and I could not have been more pleased with the pictures we received. She photographed both our engagement photos and our wedding. Neither my husband nor I are very comfortable having our photographs taken but Vanessa made the entire experience comfortable and natural. She listened closely to what we wanted and delivered above and beyond anything we could have imagined. Vanessa, herself, is so sweet and kind that you feel like you are working with family or a close friend. We could not have been happier and already have plans to have her take photos for us again.
