Thanks to Val, we thoroughly enjoyed our wedding and now have a beautiful wedding album that captures the magic of our special day and evening. Val is highly recommended.

Val was a pleasant surprise. She was recommended to me by another photographer who was not available to photograph my wedding. Fortunately, Val Messer was available and she was very responsive when I notified her. She kept in touch throughout the process and answered my questions and concerns. Val was genuine and she truly cared about making our wedding day special. She was very flexible and accommodating especially since we asked on short notice to have pictures taken at other locations. Her demeanor was very professional and pleasant! Val made the wedding party feel at ease during the photography sessions and we found her very responsive to our requests. It was nice to have one less thing to worry about and we were able to enjoy the day! We will have a hard time choosing between some of the great pictures that Val took as we have many favorites. Val is simply AMAZING. The photos she captured are beautiful. She is truly a talented perfectionist, everything me and my husband hoped for for our special day. We LOVED working with her. We are SO happy!

After talking with several other photographers over the phone and via email, Val was the first wedding photographer that we met in person- and we booked with her immediately. Our engagement and wedding photos turned out absolutely gorgeous! Honestly, they are stunning and we have received so many compliments on our engagement and the small amount of wedding day photos she has released so far.
I started out my photographer search by searching the "$" on all of the wedding websites and came across Val Messer Photography. The pics on her website is really what attracted me to meeting with her. We started out thinking we wanted to spend a minimal amount on photography (as our friends would all be taking pics to share as well), but by the time we got our engagement photos back we upgraded to a much bigger package with her. We wanted ALL the photos!! I asked some friends what they had paid for their photographers and Val was really affordable compared to what they had paid. AND the photos look like they are really high level work.
Get this, our wedding was on Friday 8/15/14 she had already touched up about 15-20 photos for us to see and share by the next day! We were able to see them before we left for our honeymoon. We were shocked she would get these out so quickly. The style of photos are very classic, yet artistic -- not the normal color and lightly quality that can be really boring. I feel like I'm gushing, but I am so happy that we booked her!
Val is really easy to work with as far as scheduling and personality. On our wedding day she was there and ready to go. She seamlessly fit in with the other vendors (caterer and DJ booked independently) and had a good time with the guests.
If you like her style of photography, I would absolutely recommend booking with her. Someday soon, when we start to have kids, we'll be booking our family photos with Val :-)

My husband and I absolutely LOVED Val Messer Photography! Val was wonderful from beginning to end! We had a small (~30 guests) wedding at our home, she came for a pre-wedding visit, was easily reachable by phone or email, and took so many wonderful shots. We were absolutely amazed! About a month after our wedding, we received a flash drive with 1000+ edited digital images with release rights. I would highly recommend her for your wedding, big and small!

Val was very flexible in tailoring her services to the type of photography I wanted for my special day. She was easy to work with and did a beautiful job capturing the feeling of the day in the photos. When my husband and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding, we wanted to stay within our budget and also have amazing pictures. When I saw Val's pictures on her website, what really struck me was the color in them. The brightness in the photos and the contrast in colors was phenomenal. I arranged a meeting with Val right away- and once I saw the way the photo albums come out I was sold. Val was very easy going and great to work with.
