When I was considering music for my wedding, there was no other choice! Verlaine made it so easy for me - he provided a list of suggestions and when I told him I wanted something slightly atypical for me to walk down the aisle he offered me a number of thoughtful options. We Skyped leading up to the wedding to discuss logistics. I had booked a harpist through my wedding venue separately (who Verlaine would not be able to rehearse with in advance), and Verlaine and the harpest came together in the minutes leading up to my ceremony and seamlessly played the most beautiful rendition of Meditation from Thais by Massenet. My dad hummed along all the way down the aisle. It was truly one of the best moments of my life. I’ll never forget it - and neither will my dad, who still brings up that wonderful moment. If he’s still doing this in 25 years, I’ll book him for my children’s weddings!
