Let me start off by saying I was so nervous when I knew I needed a wedding dress. Being plus size, I have heard all of the horror stories about going to streamline bridal shops and not being comfortable trying things on. When I first spoke to Alysse, she eased every single one of my fears. Going into my first appointment, she had all of my favorites lined up, gave me some champagne and we had the best time trying dresses on. She truly made the experience the absolute best. Both her and the seamstress (I cannot remember her name) were thorough with alterations and customizing my most perfect dress that I never realized I could have. They have the variety of dresses for everyone and anyone. They make you feel like the most important person there, hype you up, and make you feel like the most beautiful bride. I cannot recommend URB Bridal enough. They are welcoming, accommodating, thorough, professional, and just downright amazing humans.

Where to begin!! URB was my first bridal shop experience. Alysse shop owner was beyond amazing helping me find gowns that fit my shape and style. Alysse was patient and creative knowing exactly what would look good on my shape and what would not. Alysse is passionate about her shop and helping others. Not only did we find the perfect dress for me but Alysse got to know me as a person and has a big heart! Alysse allowed me to come to the shop several times to show my family the dress and patient as I made several changes to the sleeves. I love that the shop is customized and no one else in the world has my exact dress. Alysse even went above and beyond to get some butterflies to put on my dress as I told her my grandma had passed recently and loved butterflies. Alysse is absolutely amazing, down to earth and Talented!! If you're looking for a unique dress experience with someone who cares to make your vision come true, then URB is the shop for you!!!!"

If you are overwhelmed shopping for your wedding gown, make an appointment with Alysse and put yourself in her capable hands to find your dream gown! She listens to your wants and needs, then adds her creativity and experience to customize your gown at a very reasonable price. My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at the shop Alysse owns with her sister. It is such a joy finding someone to work with who loves what they do and brings their expertise to designing your perfect gown. I highly recommend this shop to anyone because their sizing is all inclusive and you can add your special touches to make your dress on-of-a kind!

URB Bridal was probably these best experience I have heard had shopping, let alone for my perfect dress! They made the process simple and so absolutely enjoyable. My first experience shopping for dresses was not great but this sister owned store was absolutely amazing!

I found my dress at URB bridal and the shopping was great but the alterations were atrocious.

During alterations, I worked with multiple different people who obviously don't communicate well, because they had terrible carryover and very little progress between visits. Nearly all the work was pushed to the final fitting — which was almost 7 HOURS. I didn't get to take my dress home until 6 weeks before my wedding, even though I'd purchased it in May 2024 for an October 2025 wedding.

The quality of the work was equally disappointing: uneven seams, horrendous sleeves that looked nothing like the original design we had agreed on, an unhemmed layer of my dress that was completely missed until my guest caught it (they literally took scissors to the bottom of my dress and called it a hem), and a hidden corset sewn in a way that left bulky, visible seams.

When I brought this to their attention, they blamed it all on me and said it was because my "continued weight loss" that made alterations difficult, or that I kept changing my mind about how I wanted the sleeves to be. But my weight did not fluctuate throughout the alterations experience at all (I kept track and was careful of this). And I changed my mind about 2 things very early - a regular corset back to a hidden corset (shortly after purchase) and the material of the sleeves (during the second appointment before anything had been done or made). Otherwise I didn't even ask for any other special customizations - I just needed the dress to fit me. It was clear they are just inexperienced and/or not skilled seamstresses.

The environment itself also felt unprofessional: no 360° mirrors to see the back of the dress, dirty floors that left debris stuck in my gown (they blamed this on the type of fabric of my dress saying it "picks up everything" instead of simply keeping the floor clean), and loud noise from children in the next room throughout my fittings.

When I raised these concerns and asked for a partial refund, their reply was dismissive and unprofessional, shifting blame onto me instead of taking accountability. In their reply they said that I "nitpicked every last detail" when I pointed out something out that was poorly done - but this is also my WEDDING DRESS. Alterations were overpriced, inconsistent, and poorly executed. In the end, I had to take my gown to another seamstress just weeks before my wedding to fix their mistakes. I didn't get my gown back until 1 week before my wedding. It was a nightmare.

These women are initially nice during your shopping experience, but don't be fooled. They are rude, unprofessional amateurs. Please take your dress elsewhere for alterations.
