We tried to manage our own wedding planning and brought Kris in to help coordinate the event on the day. We didn't know how much we didn't know until she helped us get things in order. She was able to get all our plants together on short notice, and even saved the day when my mother's dress got ruined, haha!

o We used Kris as our coordinator for our spring 2026 wedding and would highly recommend her! Kris was super organized, setting up a google drive for us to share documents like all of the contracts, table plans, and timeline. We met with Kris multiple times before the month of the wedding and then every week the month of to make sure everything was on track. Kris attended all of our final vendor calls, which was super helpful for making the final decisions about everything. She was very easy to talk to about our vision for the day and an excellent person to bounce ideas off of. The day of, Kris was amazing! It felt like she was everywhere at once. She set up our ceremony décor, which was beautiful, and made sure that all of the other décor was set out. We got married in an aquarium and Kris had found these shell advice cards in her supplies that she brought. A lot of people ended up filling them out, which was lovely. During dinner, we had two flower girls who were starting to get hungry before their table was served and Kris made sure they got fed! Kris also stayed behind at the venue to make sure that everything was packed up and that all of the vendors got their tips. I genuinely think that I would not have had as good of a time without Kris’s coordination, so we strongly recommend her to anybody planning their wedding.

Aside from being such a warm and bubbly personality, Kris is an amazingly organized and detailed- oriented wedding planner. She took the time to truly understand our vision and brought such an open minded and collaborative energy that made the whole planning process feel effortless and fun.

No matter what unexpected thing came up, she always had a solution. One week before our wedding, our venue made a last-minute room change for the ceremony, so everything had to be completely redecorated from scratch. Within a few days she pulled together an entirely new setup, even driving to another state to pick up the perfect aisle runner. Her dedication was amazing.

She is also refreshingly transparent and budget-conscious, and never tried to upsell us. Instead, she focused on executing our vision as thoughtfully and efficiently as possible (and can DIY anything if needed) and always checked in before any additional purchases were made.

On the day itself, she was on her hands and knees vacuuming the aisle before guests arrived. She was constantly coordinating our DJ, the kitchen, and all of the behind-the-scenes operations that were critical to making sure the event ran smoothly. Our guests keep telling us it was the best wedding they've ever attended. We couldn't have done it without her!

My wife and I couldnt be more happy with having Kris on our vendor team for our florals! She went above and beyond to understand and execute our vision, letting our venue speak for itself while complimenting it in every way -- we were looking for loose, natural installs and bouquets and she did a perfect job. Leading up to the wedding she was incredibly communicative and always open for a phone call and let us make some last-minute adjustments after we did our walkthrough. Day-of, she was such a calming force. All of our other vendors loved her and I think she flipped our ceremony florals to the reception space in record time. We love Kris and consider her a member of the family now!! Seriously couldnt recommend her enough.

Kris was the absolute best!! She was our month of coordinator and the best decision we made. From the very first call, we felt totally at peace knowing she could handle anything that came up. On the day of our wedding, she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled. We had a slightly more logistically complicated wedding with lots of food drop offs, but Kris managed everything as the pro she is, and made sure to communicate with us throughout the day so that we knew everything was handled. We didn't have to worry about a single detail on our wedding knowing Kris was in charge. She was also so fun and added the perfect energy to our day. Can't recommend her enough!

We had a saga of a wedding day, which included ~250 guests and spanned 3 venues in downtown Manhattan, NYC. We began working with Kris on a weekly basis starting three months before our wedding. With so much left to be done, we were in desperate need of her professional guidance!

Kris assisted us in securing last-minute venue/vendor details and navigated us through all the easily-over looked logistics of the wedding day. She gave honest feedback on how our ideas could be realistically executed, and presented us with reasonable alternatives when needed.

Because of her professional guidance and get-shit-done attitude, we knew we were in solid hands. On the day of the wedding, she made sure everything went as smoothly as possible (aka wrangling decor, vendors, and guests to keep us on schedule). When the inevitable wedding mishap arose, we were reassured that she had the issue handled.

We loved our time with Kris and couldn't give her enough credit for all her support. Our only regret was that we didn't hire her sooner and for more services! We will definitely recommend unKAGed events to all our friends and family for planning their future events.

Kris did an amazing job with partial planning, day-of coordination, + design and florals for our wedding! Her eye for design (in terms of both flow of the day/event structure plus actual decor) really sets her apart from other planners. She kept the stress off of me and my partner and made sure that every last detail was beautiful. She handcrafted many items and kept things low cost while keeping guest experience and presentation at a high level. Thanks Kris!

Kris was incredibly respectful and made us feel so seen and supported, which was so important to us, especially as a queer couple navigating a super heteronormative industry. Kris just made the whole process feel simple, and we can’t say enough about how incredible she is at her job. Highly, highly recommend, could not have done it without her. We miss her!

I don’t think I can truly explain or fit into a review how amazing Kris with unKAGed events is! We hired Kris because this was a destination wedding for us and we needed help with locating vendors and wanted to feel like we had someone that we could work with in the area that was familiar with the industry and able to coordinate day of for us. I had my initial call with Kris and immediately felt comfortable and listened to with any questions or concerns I had with planning. She offered us different vendors for catering, rentals, dj and cake. She setup up tastings and meetings with all vendors making sure we felt comfortable and confident with every vendor we went with. Kris went above and beyond being CCd on every email and on every call. She provided quick and accurate information throughout the planning process. We ran into issues with our venue along the way and Kris was right there beside us helping us and working through it. What can feel like the chaos of wedding planning we knew we could trust her and rely on her. When it came to day of as a bride it’s hard to feel like you don’t have full control over your day. However trusting Kris after working with her leading up to the big day I knew she was going to do all she could to bring my vision to life and make the best decisions for our wedding. She did just that! I can’t put into words how much she did for us - from all the work leading up, rehearsal, setting up ceremony site, setting up cocktail hour, setting up the reception tables and seating chart and then breaking it all down after - she truly does it all!! I knew I was hiring someone to help us along the way and for the day of our wedding what I didn’t know is I was hiring someone who would care about us the way she did.
