o We used Kris as our coordinator for our spring 2026 wedding and would highly recommend her! Kris was super organized, setting up a google drive for us to share documents like all of the contracts, table plans, and timeline. We met with Kris multiple times before the month of the wedding and then every week the month of to make sure everything was on track. Kris attended all of our final vendor calls, which was super helpful for making the final decisions about everything. She was very easy to talk to about our vision for the day and an excellent person to bounce ideas off of. The day of, Kris was amazing! It felt like she was everywhere at once. She set up our ceremony décor, which was beautiful, and made sure that all of the other décor was set out. We got married in an aquarium and Kris had found these shell advice cards in her supplies that she brought. A lot of people ended up filling them out, which was lovely. During dinner, we had two flower girls who were starting to get hungry before their table was served and Kris made sure they got fed! Kris also stayed behind at the venue to make sure that everything was packed up and that all of the vendors got their tips. I genuinely think that I would not have had as good of a time without Kris’s coordination, so we strongly recommend her to anybody planning their wedding. -

Kris is a Floral Expert!
My wife and I couldnt be more happy with having Kris on our vendor team for our florals! She went above and beyond to understand and execute our vision, letting our venue speak for itself while complimenting it in every way -- we were looking for loose, natural installs and bouquets and she did a perfect job. Leading up to the wedding she was incredibly communicative and always open for a phone call and let us make some last-minute adjustments after we did our walkthrough. Day-of, she was such a calming force. All of our other vendors loved her and I think she flipped our ceremony florals to the reception space in record time. We love Kris and consider her a member of the family now!! Seriously couldnt recommend her enough. -

We had a saga of a wedding day, which included ~250 guests and spanned 3 venues in downtown Manhattan, NYC. We began working with Kris on a weekly basis starting three months before our wedding. With so much left to be done, we were in desperate need of her professional guidance!
Kris assisted us in securing last-minute venue/vendor details and navigated us through all the easily-over looked logistics of the wedding day. She gave honest feedback on how our ideas could be realistically executed, and presented us with reasonable alternatives when needed.
Because of her professional guidance and get-shit-done attitude, we knew we were in solid hands. On the day of the wedding, she made sure everything went as smoothly as possible (aka wrangling decor, vendors, and guests to keep us on schedule). When the inevitable wedding mishap arose, we were reassured that she had the issue handled.
We loved our time with Kris and couldn't give her enough credit for all her support. Our only regret was that we didn't hire her sooner and for more services! We will definitely recommend unKAGed events to all our friends and family for planning their future events.

Kris did an amazing job with partial planning, day-of coordination, + design and florals for our wedding! Her eye for design (in terms of both flow of the day/event structure plus actual decor) really sets her apart from other planners. She kept the stress off of me and my partner and made sure that every last detail was beautiful. She handcrafted many items and kept things low cost while keeping guest experience and presentation at a high level. Thanks Kris! -

More than a Wedding Planner
I don’t think I can truly explain or fit into a review how amazing Kris with unKAGed events is! We hired Kris because this was a destination wedding for us and we needed help with locating vendors and wanted to feel like we had someone that we could work with in the area that was familiar with the industry and able to coordinate day of for us. I had my initial call with Kris and immediately felt comfortable and listened to with any questions or concerns I had with planning. She offered us different vendors for catering, rentals, dj and cake. She setup up tastings and meetings with all vendors making sure we felt comfortable and confident with every vendor we went with. Kris went above and beyond being CCd on every email and on every call. She provided quick and accurate information throughout the planning process. We ran into issues with our venue along the way and Kris was right there beside us helping us and working through it. What can feel like the chaos of wedding planning we knew we could trust her and rely on her. When it came to day of as a bride it’s hard to feel like you don’t have full control over your day. However trusting Kris after working with her leading up to the big day I knew she was going to do all she could to bring my vision to life and make the best decisions for our wedding. She did just that! I can’t put into words how much she did for us - from all the work leading up, rehearsal, setting up ceremony site, setting up cocktail hour, setting up the reception tables and seating chart and then breaking it all down after - she truly does it all!! I knew I was hiring someone to help us along the way and for the day of our wedding what I didn’t know is I was hiring someone who would care about us the way she did. -

Kris was wonderful to work with start to finish. Based off the size of our families, we were initially struggling with the daunting task of navigating a large scale wedding while still making sure our number one priority of efficiency, seamlessness, and intentionality were maintained. We expressed these concerns to Kris early on and were met with understanding and confident guidance towards practical solutions. Kris knows the Hudson Valley very well. Working with someone who lives here and knows this areawas very important. Seeing Kris spring into action day of the wedding was wonderful. She was calm and collected but simultaneously leading the charge and making everything happen - we had not a worry in the world for the whole day and we are very thankful for that. -

Working with Kris was a highlight of the wedding process for me! I first met Kris in 2022 at my friend Liz's wedding that Kris was coordinating. I saw and heard firsthand how integral she was to the day and knew when planning my August 2024 wedding that I needed to enlist Kris's services. I so appreciate Kris's approach to coordination - she knows how to execute a vision like an absolute pro.
On Wedding Day, I was actually surprised at how smoothly things were going. I kept checking my phone waiting for one vendor or another to call or an issue to pop up - but nothing ever did. The day after our wedding, our bridal party told us all the tiny details that had gone a bit awry and sung Kris's praises for handling everything that came up like a champion while I was enjoying the best day of my life. I will always appreciate that she didn't let me sweat any small stuff that day.
Kris is an amazing communicator, a top-tier executer, and I trusted Kris's vision completely. I cannot recommend enough! -

As someone who was stressed about even the *idea* of planning a wedding, I knew I needed to find a great planner if I wanted the process to be as smooth as possible. I chose unKAGed events because I felt like I actually got a feel for who Kris was through their website and the introductory phone call. She seemed like someone who would provide her expertise without pushing her opinions on us, and that is exactly how our working relationship was. Bonus, we kept finding things in common along the way! The more we worked together, the more it felt like discussing with a friend - a super talented and creative friend who knew how to get things done.
My husband and I really leaned on Kris for vendor recommendations, help with interview calls, and debriefing afterward to help us make decisions. Not to mention the daunting tasks of coordinating said vendors, creating a wedding day timeline, and being a point of contact for everyone. Since we aren't from the area, it was also so helpful that Kris was able to recommend local places for our engagement shoot and things for guests to do during the wedding weekend. Plus, it was invaluable having someone with a deep knowledge of what we should be doing in the months leading up to the wedding, and making sure that nothing was forgotten.
Kris was always so patient and helpful even when we had no idea what we wanted. When I say that we had no vision I'm not lying; I basically gave her nothing except a handful of basic pinterest photos. Kris took what little I gave them and ran with it, searching through various sites for ideas and using feedback we gave to come up with a theme we could work with. By the week of the wedding, Kris knew my style preferences so well that they'd send me a photo of a design feature and already knew exactly how I'd feel about it. Kris made a darling welcome mirror sign and arched wall seating chart that was such a highlight in the space. She also collaborated with our florist (Rachael from bad boss bride) to create the dreamiest tablescapes.
As much as we loved working with Kris the months before the wedding, nothing could ever describe how incredible she was on the actual day. Everything we had discussed and planned for seemed to go off without a hitch and I know it was their meticulous work that got us there. All of the items we brought were placed exactly where we wanted them, we kept up with the schedule, and Kris even packed things up so that we'd have less work to do at the end of the night. She truly did a phenomenal job. My only regret is that we didn't take a picture together that day!
I would highly recommend Kris and unKAGed events for wedding planning. Couldn't have done it without them! -

So grateful to have worked with Kris from unKAGed events for the month leading up to our wedding! As soon as she came on board, it was a huge relief. She was an invaluable support in every way-- from organization to experience. Her ability to communicate with our more DIY wedding venue was worth it, alone! She successfully negotiated a contract that needed revisiting, helped my now-husband find a last minute emergency haircut, and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding! You truly never know what will go wrong as the big day comes-- and Kris was great at putting out those fires and executing a timeline so smoothly! Only wish we hired her for more months! Kris was a godsend. Her no nonsense yet fun attitude is much needed so you can enjoy your day properly. Kris started working with us honestly well before she had to. We brought her on for month of coordination but she started helping by being a sounding board, providing a super helpful Excel sheet, and providing advice from day one. We were having a somewhat destination wedding in that we live 7 hours away from our venue, so it was so reassuring to be able to trust that she'd have everything handled. The venue had a LOT of moving parts, and I admittedly wasn't as organized as I would have hoped to be going into the day. I trusted Kris to take the reigns come time for the rehearsal and she did so wonderfully, leading the order of events and taking that off our plates. Her coordination was impressive, especially since there was an entire ski lift to take for our ceremony location. And her florals were absolutely positively stunning. They were pieces I never thought we'd be able to attain and she brought a dream and a bunch of Pinterest pins to life! She was accessible for any random questions we had leading up to the day and I left every phone call feeling more relaxed and reassured. I can't recommend leaning on Kris enough for your big day! TLDR: An attention to detail and indomitable spirit to make your wedding day feel like it's in the best of hands! Kris stepped in at the last minute to help me out and I couldn't have picked a better person to take over.
The Deets:
I finally reached out to Kris about a month before my wedding and I was just a total wreck. There were too many moving parts, too many emails, too many things to follow up on and just NO time between work and life to handle it all. Kris calmly talked me through things to figure out where I was at, what my vision was and what was left to do.
I really would not have gotten through that last month, or even the day of, without her. She took over setup of my DIY photo booth and this balcony space I just didn't know what to do with. Kris made that space and photo booth such an oasis, just what I wanted! Her inventory of props and creative experience created such a fun glow-up and relieved such a big burden from my shoulders.
Kris is organized, communicative and just so much fun to talk to. She took charge of my vendors and communicated with my venue seamlessly. She worked hand-in-hand with the venue coordinator on such short notice and I really, really can't thank her enough.

Kris helped the impossible become possible. We had a tricky venue, a very specific vision, and an almost entirely DIY wedding. Our guest count ballooned dramatically. She pulled from her background as a festival planner to give us a vintage street fair wedding in the park. She figured out how to thread the needle and pulled it together beautifully! -

A dream to work with
Kris at Unkaged Events made the wedding of our dreams come to life. From each stage in the process Kris was so integral and supportive. We had a lot of unexpected challenges in our process (venue change, family drama, etc. and Kris was there for us through it all). They executed my vision in way I wasn’t even able to put into words, they just got it and made it happen! I was especially amazed by the flower arrangements they created (see pictures). It was beyond magical and beautiful. We are thrilled and awed by the work they did. We also received a lot of complements from guests about how organized and well executed the event was and how impressed they were with our planner in particular! We would hire Kris 100 times over. -

Kris Glover-Rasimas is a fantastic day-of wedding coordinator! She met with us at our venue a few weeks before the wedding to help us finalize some details, and helped out a lot with our understanding of the overall flow of the event. Good Day-Of Coordinator
My husband and I are both active-duty military and had an 8-month timeline to organize our wedding in upstate New York at my husband’s family’s private residence. We paid for the full time planning, design, wedding florals and rehearsal dinner services, and day-of wedding coordination.
Kris is especially skilled at day-of coordination for our wedding and we recommend her service. She set up all of our DIY decor and helped execute our intricate wedding plans.
Her vendor recommendations were great, including Promises Kept, the private dining food vendor, and Pent Makeup, our makeup artist who specializes in makeup for Asian women. When we went over budget during the planning process, Kris helped us make cuts and sustainable swaps to get us back on track.
The florals also looked lovely. Excited to see how her business continues to grow! -
