After debating using fake florals to save money, we decided to hire University Florist relatively late in the planning process, and are so happy we did! University Florist provided beautiful flowers at a reasonable, transparent price. Further, they were able to work with our budget, and never once made us feel like we needed to spend more than we were comfortable with. Carolyn and her team were able to execute my vision without too much instruction. Carolyn was also willing to have an in person meeting with us at the venue a few months prior, which was very helpful.

The booking and quoting isn’t the most tech-savvy process (everything done via email or on word docs basically) but don’t let this deter you. University Florist was very responsive and would respond to all emails in a timely manner.

Carolyn and the team at University Florist blew me away! They created a gorgeous bouquet and boutonniere for my (now) husband and I for our Blue Ridge elopement on 10/28/2020. I was staying in Lexington as an out of town guest for my elopement so my entire flower order was created from a distance. Carolyn did my flowers for my wedding at House Mountain and The Irvine Estate. It was everything I could have ever wanted and more.

Carolyn blew me away in every aspect. She is VERY detail oriented and organized. I myself work in the event business I knew that planning my wedding would be "my best event". I am a type A person and was that typical bride who wanted it all. And more. Flowers were the focal point at my wedding. For the most part, I came with a plan of what I thought I wanted and liked. Carolyn took my plan and elevated it.

Carolyn made me feel special. I felt like she heard what I was wanting, and did more. She provided flowers for the pergola, my bridal party, decorated wine barrel arrangements, and everything you could think about for a reception.

We hired University Florist and Greenery to create our wedding flowers. Carolyn was awesome to work with and the flowers turned out perfectly. The flowers were high quality and exactly what I was picturing. Carolyn was able to turn my dream flowers into reality. They knew our venue, House Mountain Inn, really well so she was able to help guide our choices. She is also super real and told me ways I could save money instead of her charging me more.
