Unapologetic Foods is a wedding caterer based in New York, New York.

We are a group of rebels, outliers, and passionate foodies, out to redefine Indian food.

With a James Beard Award-winning Chef named the Best Chef in New York City 2022 at the helm of our operations, our food challenges the conventional norms of what you would expect when you think of Indian food. Every venture is different yet has its own unique fingerprint. We are the group behind Adda, Dhamaka, Rowdy Rooster, Semma, and more. We are now excited to bring the same amazing, unique food and service we are known for to your private events.

Cuisine

Unapologetic Foods offers a variety of dishes, including clay pot biryani, tandoori, and various curry options. The team can accommodate a variety of allergy and dietary restrictions, such as halal, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free. Some of the serving styles we offer include plated dinners, family-style, French services, and buffet stations. On your big day, we will take care of delivery, setup, and clean-up while you enjoy your day to the fullest.

Great food and service

We used UA foods for a destination wedding in Aspen CO. Food was excellent with a variety of different types of street foods and foods from various parts of the India at the multiple events. The team stepped up to fill any gaps. The guests enjoyed the food and were raving about it. We highly recommend Chef Chintan, Seema Pai and her team for any event

Authentic and Delicious

From the moment, my fiancé and I dinned at Semma and Dhamaka, we knew they had to be part of our wedding celebrations. It was extremely easy to work with Seema, their catering manager who worked with me extensively on the menu, staffing and rentals.The guests from our wedding kept craving about the food and i think it was definitely one of the top highlights of our special day.

Great Food, Great People

It’s not typical to be able to actually afford catering a wedding with a James Beard winning chef but that’s exactly what you get with Unapologetic Foods! Seema and her team were very responsive, professional, and did 110% of what we asked to help make our events amazing.

The best catering decision you will ever make...

My family and I have been regulars at Unapologetic Foods establishments including Dhamaka and Semma since before they skyrocketed in popularity and became the crowning jewels of New York City's vibrant dining scene. So I was over the moon when I contacted them asking if they'd be able to cater my engagement party, and they said yes! The service, food, and presentation was beyond phenomenal, and the the entire team was on its toes ensuring we and our guests had the best evening possible. They also paid attention to our request of toning down the spice level a bit, which was much appreciated. It was a night to remember, and we have no doubts that Unapologetic Foods' catering arm will be yet another milestone in their continued success. Thank you Roni, Chintan, Seema, and team. You're the best in the business!
