You guys were amazing in every way. It was better than I could have imagined. It was romantic and elegant and the fillet was to die for.

The best Event Planning & Catering Company in Northern VA!
I used this Company earlier this year for my daughters wedding and left extremely impressed with the service overall. The organizing of her wedding began with a consultation where we discussed what my daughter was looking for in her wedding; the pricing was very affordable and competitive with other companies in the area. The team kept my daughter and I up to date just about every other week, there was very little work done on our side of things. Just weeks before the wedding we did a final review and walk through our wedding site where the set up details were taken, my daughter was very nervous however the collective presence and overall knowledge of the event coordinators settled her nerves before her wedding day. A week before the wedding, we made a couple of minor changes to the decorations inside and outside the building, Ultimate Events was able to pull through these changes without breaking a sweat. Soon enough, her wedding day arrived, my daughter and her brides maids left to get their hair and makeup done at the wedding site and I have to say I was very surprised to see how calm and comfortable she was with everything! Just four hours before her wedding and she was laughing and enjoying a pomegranate martini (her signature cocktail provided by Ultimate Events). Not a care in the world!
The events planner came to check up on us almost every 45 minutes to make sure everything was well in order, I felt very satisfied knowing that we were being thought of as frequently as we were, it was very relieving, every other minute we needed more bobby pins or boob-tape! On-site, the event planners had just about everything a wedding emergency would need, from tape to a sewing needle.
When my daughter walked down the isle I immediately felt a rush of tranquility, everything looked absolutely perfect, the isle was draped in rose petals and candlelight to create the perfect mood my daughter was looking for. The photos couldn’t have come out any better! Dinnertime arrived and the food was exquisite, we had arranged a buffet that included sirloin steak, grilled vegetables, delicious crab cakes and more. All of our guests were happy and I could not believe how attentive the staff were, we only had 8 waiters staffed yet met our needs to the highest degree. Wine glasses were constantly full! Can’t ask for anything better! Overall, it was an extremely pleasant experience for all involved and I could not ask for anything better, I have presented Ultimate Events to my corporate clientele and continue to use them for their catering services.

This is a 5 star company. From the moment we met Nora Burgan we knew we were in good hands. Our wedding day was perfect in every way. The food was outstanding...fresh, tasty foods presented very elegantly. The service highly attentive and professional. The mood...the cake...all of it...out of this world. I highly recommend this company.

I was delighted with Ultimate Events. They delivered the "one stop service" they promise and made me feel special and cared for. Everything was like a dream and I had a blast. I can't thank Nora and Ultimate Events enough!

I had a terrible experience with this catering company and I feel as though we wasted $1,150 that we should not have had to pay. We found the owner, Nora, to be inflexible, mean and careless. She told me 2 weeks before my wedding that my budget was not only beneath their standards, but that they no longer even look at contracts that were less than $5,000 more than what I was spending. Nice to hear when you are running around trying to prepare for your wedding, huh?
Next, she hit us with a $250 delivery fee because she had to have the rentals dropped off on a Saturday. My wedding was ALWAYS on a Saturday and this fee was never mentioned at any time. She said my contract was non-negotiable, but yet she could add this fee at the last minute?
The contract listed a salad to be served to the tables, but it did not include rentals for a salad plate or fork. Bam-another $200. She refused to recognize that her company might have made a mistake in excluding these necessary rentals.
We had 20 people cancel last minute - frustrating - but Nora didn’t care because we had agreed to 150 people over a year in advance. I asked her if we could at least allocate that $700 worth of food towards something else-more appetizers, drinks, anything…but she said NO, that we had to pay for 20 entrees that would not be eaten.
Because of this awful situation, we specifically asked to have them package up every single food item to take home. We had to pay for 20 extra entrees and we wanted to make sure we got what we paid for. When my mother went back to collect the packaged food at the end of the night, the head server had no idea that they were supposed to package up the food (Nora did not convey this) and nearly all of the food was gone. We know that there were plenty of leftovers; what happened to them?! There was very little food left and my whole family was disgusted that we probably paid $700 for the servers to eat.
We said on numerous occasions that we were not having a ‘last call’ at the bar to avoid over indulgence at the end of the night. The bar tender gave not one, but two last calls, which resulted in the outcome we wanted to avoid.
We also had specific instructions to have a plate packaged up no later than 10:45 for myself and my groom to take back to the hotel. This, like other instructions, was not conveyed to anyone. At 10:55, the plate came out. 10 minutes after departure.
Nora left before dinner was even finished and said that she left us in the hands of her head server. She clearly did not communicate any of our directions to him. The careless communication skills among staff resulted in several mishaps of the wedding. I even had to go back to where they were setting up tables (when I should have been getting ready for my wedding!!!) to fix improper seating placements because this staff was incapable of following a seating chart with written directions accompanying it. Everything that my mother and I were in charge of was perfect that evening. The only problems were caused by this catering company and I also feel that we spent $1,150 that we shouldn’t have had to spend. A lot of wasted money for any wedding budget!!!!!!
