Hey there! I'm Devyn, the sole wedding planner, coordinator, and point of contact for event and wedding planning services. I am a destination wedding planner who specializes in coast to coast bepoke celebrations. I currently live in Reno, NV, down the road from Lake Tahoe and Truckee. I was born and raised in Massachusetts and went to my first college in New York City. I then transferred to Reno to play soccer at UNR many years ago.
I've been in Reno/Tahoe for over 12 years and happy to call it home.
I love to be outdoors either hiking, camping, snowboarding, or exploring & enjoying the amazing area we live in.

I received my wedding planning certification in 2022 but didn't start the business until 2023 when I left my full-time job to pursue my entrepreneurial passions. The learning never stops as I often take seminars and work with others to be a better wedding planner.

Best wedding coordinator!
Devyn was the most amazing wedding day coordinator! My mom and I decided two days before my fiancé and i’s wedding that we needed a wedding day coordinator in order to be stress-free for the wedding day. We quickly jumped on Wedding Wire to find one, and ran into Turquoise Ridge Events. Devyn was so responsive and was super excited to help us with making our wedding perfect. It truly was perfect and we feel so blessed to have had Devyn there to make our special day run so smoothly. I did not have to worry about anything the day of my wedding as Devyn took on everything. She was very flexible to make things work how my fiancé and I pictured. She was very easy to be in contact with and responded rapidly. I cannot thank her enough!!! She is the BEST and gave us the wedding of our dreams!☺️ THANK YOU!

If you aren't hiring Devyn, what are you even doing? Devyn made our day go smoothly, she handled all our vendors. Set up and clean up. She made sure we had everything I needed and was so easy to easy to work with. She made our day seamless and I highly recommend her! Thank you again for all you did for us! HIRE Devyn!!! Cannot Recommend Enough!
Working with Turquoise Ridge Events was hands down one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. After working with Devyn I can say without a doubt that the day wouldn’t have been possible without her.
I realized too late that there were so many things I forgot to do. She handled every forgotten detail with such grace and made everything look even better than I had imagined. She seamlessly supported our photographer, kept everything moving, and was constantly everywhere at once making sure every moment ran smoothly. Planning from across the country was stressful, but knowing I had someone so meticulous and detail-oriented gave me so much peace of mind.
My only regret is not booking her for full planning, because she was that incredible. She went above and beyond in every way, and I am endlessly grateful that I found her. If you’re even slightly considering hiring a coordinator - do it, and hire Turquoise Ridge Events!

Devyn is the best!
Devyn is an absolute JOY to work with and I would recommend her to anyone!! I worked a wedding with her (I’m a photographer) this past summer and she was easy going and accommodating, yet she also knew when and how to take charge when needed. She’s such a friendly presence to have around and I have been recommending her to clients of mine ever since!

Best decision I made to hire Devyn!
A few days before my daughter’s wedding, I began to panic that we did not have a day of coordinator provided by our venue. I reached out to three or four coordinators, and Devyn was the first to respond, and thankfully she was available on very short notice!
Devyn jumped into immediate action and picked up right where we need her to by fine-tuning my daughter’s timeline and coming to our house to pick up all reception decor, which was a huge help since there was quite a bit of stuff needing to be transported.
Devyn took charge of the rehearsal and wedding day and allowed me to fully enjoy the two days. I was able to let some of my biggest worries go since I really didn’t know how I was going to do it all by myself (and I didn’t want to take away the day’s enjoyment by asking family or friends to help)! Moms, take my advice, and hire Devyn to carry the burdens and manage the minute details; she will make certain that the day runs smoothly, and she will give you the blessing of being present and fully engaged with the celebration. The day goes by in a blink of an eye— make the best decision of the entire wedding planning process and hire Devyn as your day of coordinator!
