If you are looking for a fabulous caterer with high quality food, TRIO is absoluely for you. We used them to cater both our wedding and a family brunch the morning after. Their food is truly 5 star quality. Not only is their food delicious, they are committed to making sure everyone's experience around eating the food is top-notch. The servers and bartenders were all so professional and kind. Trio is not just a caterer that throws some food on a plate. They are a true culinary arts company. Everything not only tasted delicious but also looked beautiful. The company is owned and operated by the sweetest husband and wife and man does the chef's wife make the most delicious pastries and cakes.

We did a small, private dinner party here at this restaurant (restaurant buyout - check it out). It was FABULOUS. The service was impeccable and every course of the meal was great. We received many rave reviews from our guests. Some who have not been there for a while and will be going back and some who have never been there and will be coming back.

Trio catered our rehearsal dinner (70) and the wedding reception (175) and we loved them! The food was amazing and unique. We received so many compliments from guests on the food and the menu. Jason, the chef, is so talented and took our ideas and translated it into a creative and unique menu. Cristina, the catering manager, was organized, responsive and made sure both events were flawless. We loved that they are a locally owned business with special care by the chef. Also, the servers they provided were quality and top notch. Lottie & the Grit and Gold team worked closely with Trio to ensure that everything fit with the layout and look of the evening and that the timing was just right - the perfect combination. We couldn't have been more pleased with Trio and we plan to visit their restaurant soon! They were amazing!

We wouldn't even consider anyone else but Trio!!

Melody and her team were a joy to work with! The food was amazing and the service just as good! They did a wonderful job on presentation of the food as well. I still have guests raving about the amazing meatballs and Artichoke dip! Simply You was one of my favorite vendors by far!

Pros:

Our food was really delicious! The macaroni and cheese station that we had was a huge hit. Even though there was a longer line than what I would have liked, none of our guests would leave the line because they were so excited about it. Most people went back for seconds (or in some cases thirds). The rest of the food that we had was well received by our guests also. The biggest hits after the mac and cheese were the avocado crab cakes, the achiote beef skewers, and the honey soy chicken skewers. They were all very good. The pricing at Trio is also very competitive. I feel that the product and service we received was fully worth the price we paid.

Cons:

The only problem that we ran into was having some difficulty getting in touch. I think that a big part of this was that their timing revolves around their cafe hours (speaking of cafe, if you are ever near Colleyville, check it out!). There was some lag time between e-mails and returned phone calls, but ultimately, what we communicated was executed quite well.

We would (and have) recommend Trio for catering. They are very nice people creating very tasty food.
