What a dream venue! The Carondelet was on our top LA venues when we were first looking at where to get married after our engagement, and it lived up to every expectation. The venue is so gorgeous that you won’t need too much decor, and it absolutely glows at night, especially with candlelight! There are so many nooks and crannies for people to go to take a break from the noise and dancing if they need to. And the food! When we told our vendors that we had booked this venue, each one of them immediately launched into a rave about the food. They were all right! All of our guests were raving about the appetizers and dinner, and with good reason. The food from Tres LA was absolutely delicious and we were so glad that we had the chance to enjoy some of it. Specifically, the sea bass and the vegan lasagna were enormous hits, as well as the grilled cheese and tomato bisque shooter appetizer. To top it all off, all of the staff, especially Sherri and Ambyr, were incredibly sweet and accommodating. At the end of the night, one of us needed a cup of tea to settle a bit of a headache. Even though the kitchen was closed, a couple of the venue workers still found some hot water and a peppermint tea bag - they were so kind and lovely! Thank you for making our wedding so special.

Given that my wife and I started dating, in part, because of our shared love of making and eating exquisite foods, we decided early on that our wedding caterer HAD to be phenomenal. Shortly after we booked the Ebell, a coworker told me about his wedding at a sister venue, the Carondelet House, and how good the food from Tres LA was. So, we pulled the trigger and went with Tres LA. It was a smart decision. Tres LA really delivered at our wedding, not just with fun, interesting dishes that were well prepared, but with service that was just as good as any Michelin-rated restaurant. That is to say, the service was attentive, extremely friendly, and highly-competent. The duck confit and vegan taco appetizers were standout dishes, as was the arugula and beet salad with honeycomb, and of course, the ribeye, though I heard the vegan option was great as well. The custom drink selections, including a non-alcoholic mint, cucumber, and lime spritzer, were also very well received by our guests, as were the top shelf liquor options. Our guests commented on how they felt like they were in a luxury accommodation, which I attributed, in large part, to the great service from Tres LA.

Having fantastic food at our wedding was something we wanted from the start. When our wedding planner recommended Tres LA we knew we had to use them. Their food was the best wedding food we have ever had and we heard this from many guests too. From service, to appetizers, dinner, drinks everything was A++++. We are so happy we hired them to provide the food and the drinks for our wedding. They were so accommodating to everything we threw at them and we appreciated that so much. If you want the best wedding food and service, please hire Tres LA. You will not regret it.

During the wedding planning process, the most important vendor to me was the food. I have been to plenty of weddings before and have never been overly impressed with the food. I always thought that there was no way to have top tier food when you cook for so many people. I was dead wrong. TresLA has the best food. We are thrilled and so happy that we hired TresLA as our caterer for our wedding. The food came out just the way it was at the tasting and their service was top-notch. We were beyond impressed with TresLA. I cannot suggest TresLA enough if you are planning your own wedding.

Easy to work with, professional, and the food was delicious!!

We were fortunate enough to get to work with Rob Pausmith and the folks at Tres LA for our recent wedding and let me just start by saying that Rob is the most kind, sincere, and wonderful human being we've ever been fortunate enough to work with.

Rob not only handled the food, but also handled the venue that we chose (Cielo Farms), so we got to interact with him a lot. He is EXTREMELY good at his job and extremely personable. Every time we got a chance to interact with him, we left feeling good - because he makes you feel like every little detail is taken care of. He rocks.

Now onto Tres LA's food and service. One word: WOW. Every single thing that they have to offer is out of this world. We thought that when we did the tasting itself, the food would be way better than the day of. They're trying to suck you in at that point, and then they phone it in the day of, right?

Wrong. The food at the wedding itself was just as good as the tasting, and by good I mean incredible. Michelin star type stuff. Working with them to create a menu was easy, everything we tried was phenomenal, and the experience of working with their staff (and Rob of course) on the day of was perfection.

People rarely remember too many details about your wedding (thanks to the free booze), but one thing they never forget is the food. And our guests will be raving about ours for a looooong time.

If you're getting married at Carondelet or the Ebell Long Beach, don't look further than their extraordinary catering team at Tres LA. Every drink and every bite of food was amazing. And they were so flexible to work with - accommodating every change we threw their way. It was a breath of fresh air to not have to worry about anything on the day and the Tres LA team made sure that was possible. Plus, every person that worked the event was so nice! Planning a wedding involves countless details, but make no mistake that the heart of the conversation often revolves around the food. I was fortunate enough to cross paths with the talented folks at Tres LA. From the our initial tasting to the dessert table at the wedding, the entire experience with Tres LA was a dream.

We had the pleasure of working with Ellis as our coordinator. Ellis was professional, organized, creative, and most of all reliable. She was instrumental in helping us select the right menu from their expansive options. They truly do offer something for every palate, from creative spins on old classics to unique creations that will surely generate buzz among your friends and family. Ellis helped us select a great mix of new and old, classics and modern options.

The tray passed appetizers service during cocktail hour was exceptional. We had a guest count of 250, and the tray service was constantly flowing. All of our guests were able to sample every appetizer, despite the large crowd size. Their servers were so friendly and courteous.

Dinner service was family style. We had about 42 tables, a daunting task for getting out so many platters of food, but we noticed every table had their courses in a timely manner. The food was OUTSTANDING.

I can never truly express my gratitude for Ellis and the amazing team at Tres LA. We had such a positive experience working with them and have received so many compliments from our guests about the food and the service. It really goes beyond a simple catering company, Tres LA delivers a dining experience for you and your guests.

I got married at Carondelet House on October 7, 2018 and the staff at Tres LA were beyond exceptional. Nice, professional, on the ball and SO attentive. On the day of our wedding they had a designated server for my husband and me, which was lovely. They helped us plan so many details of the wedding and the food was off-the-charts delicious. Truly good and we are foodies. We went to a tasting ahead of the wedding and were blown away by how good it was. I didn't think it would be quite as good on the actual wedding day (when they would be serving a much larger group) and it was just as good if not better. Many of my guests talked about the food and service. They were wonderful!

Everyone raved that this was the best food that they've had at an event, let alone a wedding! If you're a foodie I can't recommend Tres LA enough. They are super accommodating and if you can dream it up, they can make it happen.
