  Absolutely delicious food

  What a dream venue! The Carondelet was on our top LA venues when we were first looking at where to get married after our engagement, and it lived up to every expectation. The venue is so gorgeous that you won’t need too much decor, and it absolutely glows at night, especially with candlelight! There are so many nooks and crannies for people to go to take a break from the noise and dancing if they need to. And the food! When we told our vendors that we had booked this venue, each one of them immediately launched into a rave about the food. They were all right! All of our guests were raving about the appetizers and dinner, and with good reason. The food from Tres LA was absolutely delicious and we were so glad that we had the chance to enjoy some of it. Specifically, the sea bass and the vegan lasagna were enormous hits, as well as the grilled cheese and tomato bisque shooter appetizer. To top it all off, all of the staff, especially Sherri and Ambyr, were incredibly sweet and accommodating. At the end of the night, one of us needed a cup of tea to settle a bit of a headache. Even though the kitchen was closed, a couple of the venue workers still found some hot water and a peppermint tea bag - they were so kind and lovely! Thank you for making our wedding so special.

  Fantastic Food

  Having fantastic food at our wedding was something we wanted from the start. When our wedding planner recommended Tres LA we knew we had to use them. Their food was the best wedding food we have ever had and we heard this from many guests too. From service, to appetizers, dinner, drinks everything was A++++. We are so happy we hired them to provide the food and the drinks for our wedding. They were so accommodating to everything we threw at them and we appreciated that so much. If you want the best wedding food and service, please hire Tres LA. You will not regret it.

  If you want the best food, hire the best

  During the wedding planning process, the most important vendor to me was the food. I have been to plenty of weddings before and have never been overly impressed with the food. I always thought that there was no way to have top tier food when you cook for so many people. I was dead wrong. TresLA has the best food. We are thrilled and so happy that we hired TresLA as our caterer for our wedding. The food came out just the way it was at the tasting and their service was top-notch. We were beyond impressed with TresLA. I cannot suggest TresLA enough if you are planning your own wedding.

  Excellent Service and Amazing Food

  Given that my wife and I started dating, in part, because of our shared love of making and eating exquisite foods, we decided early on that our wedding caterer HAD to be phenomenal. Shortly after we booked the Ebell, a coworker told me about his wedding at a sister venue, the Carondelet House, and how good the food from Tres LA was. So, we pulled the trigger and went with Tres LA. It was a smart decision. Tres LA really delivered at our wedding, not just with fun, interesting dishes that were well prepared, but with service that was just as good as any Michelin-rated restaurant. That is to say, the service was attentive, extremely friendly, and highly-competent. The duck confit and vegan taco appetizers were standout dishes, as was the arugula and beet salad with honeycomb, and of course, the ribeye, though I heard the vegan option was great as well. The custom drink selections, including a non-alcoholic mint, cucumber, and lime spritzer, were also very well received by our guests, as were the top shelf liquor options. Our guests commented on how they felt like they were in a luxury accommodation, which I attributed, in large part, to the great service from Tres LA.

  Rob Pausmith and the team at Tres LA are incredible.

  We were fortunate enough to get to work with Rob Pausmith and the folks at Tres LA for our recent wedding and let me just start by saying that Rob is the most kind, sincere, and wonderful human being we've ever been fortunate enough to work with.
  
  Rob not only handled the food, but also handled the venue that we chose (Cielo Farms), so we got to interact with him a lot. He is EXTREMELY good at his job and extremely personable. Every time we got a chance to interact with him, we left feeling good - because he makes you feel like every little detail is taken care of. He rocks.
  
  Now onto Tres LA's food and service. One word: WOW. Every single thing that they have to offer is out of this world. We thought that when we did the tasting itself, the food would be way better than the day of. They're trying to suck you in at that point, and then they phone it in the day of, right?
  
  Wrong. The food at the wedding itself was just as good as the tasting, and by good I mean incredible. Michelin star type stuff. Working with them to create a menu was easy, everything we tried was phenomenal, and the experience of working with their staff (and Rob of course) on the day of was perfection.
  
  People rarely remember too many details about your wedding (thanks to the free booze), but one thing they never forget is the food. And our guests will be raving about ours for a looooong time.

  Wonderful food, wonderful drinks, amazing staff!

  If you're getting married at Carondelet or the Ebell Long Beach, don't look further than their extraordinary catering team at Tres LA. Every drink and every bite of food was amazing. And they were so flexible to work with - accommodating every change we threw their way. It was a breath of fresh air to not have to worry about anything on the day and the Tres LA team made sure that was possible. Plus, every person that worked the event was so nice! Thank you, thank you!

  I got married at Carondelet House on October 7, 2018 and the staff at Tres LA were beyond exceptional. Nice, professional, on the ball and SO attentive. On the day of our wedding they had a designated server for my husband and me, which was lovely. They helped us plan so many details of the wedding and the food was off-the-charts delicious. Truly good and we are foodies. We went to a tasting ahead of the wedding and were blown away by how good it was. I didn't think it would be quite as good on the actual wedding day (when they would be serving a much larger group) and it was just as good if not better. Many of my guests talked about the food and service. They were wonderful!

  Professional and charming staff, delicious and creative menus!

  Planning a wedding involves countless details, but make no mistake that the heart of the conversation often revolves around the food. I was fortunate enough to cross paths with the talented folks at Tres LA. From the our initial tasting to the dessert table at the wedding, the entire experience with Tres LA was a dream.
  
  We had the pleasure of working with Ellis as our coordinator. Ellis was professional, organized, creative, and most of all reliable. She was instrumental in helping us select the right menu from their expansive options. They truly do offer something for every palate, from creative spins on old classics to unique creations that will surely generate buzz among your friends and family. Ellis helped us select a great mix of new and old, classics and modern options.
  
  The tray passed appetizers service during cocktail hour was exceptional. We had a guest count of 250, and the tray service was constantly flowing. All of our guests were able to sample every appetizer, despite the large crowd size. Their servers were so friendly and courteous.
  
  Dinner service was family style. We had about 42 tables, a daunting task for getting out so many platters of food, but we noticed every table had their courses in a timely manner. The food was OUTSTANDING.
  
  I can never truly express my gratitude for Ellis and the amazing team at Tres LA. We had such a positive experience working with them and have received so many compliments from our guests about the food and the service. It really goes beyond a simple catering company, Tres LA delivers a dining experience for you and your guests.

  Everyone raved that this was the best food that they've had at an event, let alone a wedding! If you're a foodie I can't recommend Tres LA enough. They are super accommodating and if you can dream it up, they can make it happen.

  Delicious. The best work I can describe Tres L.A.'s food. We recently hired them to cater our cocktail hour and reception and all of our guests couldn't stop talking about the food. Everyone loved every bite and the selection of food choices made it so hard to narrow down a select few. We were able to sit and eat and I couldn't have been happier about that because the food was sooooooooo good!

  Absolutely delicious! From the point of booking until after our wedding, Tres LA Delivered! The quality and presentation at our tasting was exactly on par to what was at our wedding. Everything was beautifully plated and tasted just as great as it looked. The service was fantastic! My husband and I along with our guests were very happy!

  Tres L.A. was incredible!!! You always hear that the food was 'meh' at weddings so my husband and I really wanted a great food experience for our guests. Tres L.A. DELIVERED! From the deliciously creative hors d'oeuvres to the dinner, people were blown away. Everyone talked about how amazing the food was. The service was unbelievable as well. There was not one moment I had to wait to ask for anything. Someone was always right there to help you with whatever you may need. Incredible experience!

  The food was amazing! Although higher on our budget spectrum, from hors d'oeuvres to the entrees, everything was tasty. I loved how they sent us home at the end of our wedding with a doggie bag, so I could actually enjoy the food (the dress didn't leave me much room for anything!)

  Tres LA catering was the in-house catering company for my wedding on 02/06/16 at the Ebell Long Beach. Since the wedding anyone I have spoken to has told me how amazing the food and service were. I loved everything I ate from the apps to the dessert. On top of it their staff was so quick, polite and attentive. I truly could not have been happier with their gourmet food, and amazing service. I would highly recommend them!

  Tres LA catering was the in-house catering company for my wedding on 02/06/16 at the Ebell Long Beach. Since the wedding anyone I have spoken to has told me how amazing the food and service were.   Tres LA came highly recommended by our venue coordinator as one of the preferred catering vendors for the Legendary Park Plaza Hotel. My fiancé and I live in NY and were able to attend a tasting during one of our trips to LA before the wedding and they definitely did not disappoint. For our tasting, we were allowed to select 8 hor d'oeuvres, 2 salads, and 3 entrees, of which we would choose 3 HDs, 1 salad, and 1 entree for the wedding. Of the huge menu presented to us, it was so difficult to narrow down the choices, as there was a very wide variety, from novelties to twists on familiar favorites. The presentation was chic and beautiful, with generous portions that left you full but not stuffed. We also especially loved that the chefs utilized fresh, local ingredients (organic when possible) - you could taste it in the food!
  
  While we did not love every single dish that we tried, of the food that we enjoy, my fiancé and I both absolutely LOVED, as they were spot on in flavor, texture, and presentation. After our tasting, we got to meet the chef to give them our notes and request changes to dishes that we found too salty, too sweet, etc. The chefs were very receptive of our feedback and were able to recommend pairings of food, as well as suggestions of dishes that we were not able to try during the tasting. For the wedding, we opted for: HDs - Baby Big Mac, tuna sashimi with toasted rice cake, and tomato jam tartlette; salad - Fig salad with walnuts and baby spinach; Entrees - lemon herb chicken with rice and carrots, strip loin and prawns with rice and carrots, and vegetarian ratatouille.
  
  Let me just say: EVERY SINGLE GUEST COMPLIMENTED & RAVED ABOUT OUR FOOD. The Baby Big Macs and tuna sashimi were a HUGE hit, and our vegetarian friends also appreciated the variety of our veggie-friendly selections. Chicken melts in your mouth & rice & carrots were our favorite sides.
  
  Would definitely HIGHLY recommend Tres LA for your wedding or next event!

The presentation was chic and beautiful, with generous portions that left you full but not stuffed. We also especially loved that the chefs utilized fresh, local ingredients (organic when possible) - you could taste it in the food!
  
  While we did not love every single dish that we tried, of the food that we enjoy, my fiancé and I both absolutely LOVED, as they were spot on in flavor, texture, and presentation. After our tasting, we got to meet the chef to give them our notes and request changes to dishes that we found too salty, too sweet, etc. The chefs were very receptive of our feedback and were able to recommend pairings of food, as well as suggestions of dishes that we were not able to try during the tasting. For the wedding, we opted for: HDs - Baby Big Mac, tuna sashimi with toasted rice cake, and tomato jam tartlette; salad - Fig salad with walnuts and baby spinach; Entrees - lemon herb chicken with rice and carrots, strip loin and prawns with rice and carrots, and vegetarian ratatouille.
  
  Let me just say: EVERY SINGLE GUEST COMPLIMENTED & RAVED ABOUT OUR FOOD. The Baby Big Macs and tuna sashimi were a HUGE hit, and our vegetarian friends also appreciated the variety of our veggie-friendly selections. Chicken melts in your mouth & rice & carrots were our favorite sides.

  The food was fantastic. I had foodie friends rave endlessly about the hors d’oeuvres and meal. The food was definitely the star of the show for my wedding guests. The dishes are creative and the flavors are crowd-pleasing. Their menu is exhaustive and so tummy-tempting. It was so hard to select from all the amazing options during the planning process!
  
  But what I absolutely loved was the service. Both the administrative office (Lara is such a pleasure to work with!) and day-of service personnel are…flawless. They understand how to execute on service – everything from timing the serving of courses, to filling water and wine glasses once they hit the middle mark, to their cordial demeanor, pleasant smiles and non-obtrusiveness… they were so flawless and smooth you wouldn’t have noticed them. Invisible service where you’re left wanting for naught is almost impossible to find and critically important for an upscale wedding.
  
  Lara is fantastic to work with. She is extremely responsive, patient and answers emails and questions within hours. Is extremely fair and reasonable. Professional describes Lara and the rest of the Tres LA staff.
  
  I feel so lucky to have found Tres LA and the venue, Carondelet House. Together, they are a power house in special events. I would argue that no other venue/catering duo provides such excellent and personal service or create the dishes they can. This food is far superior to any other large-scale event I’ve been to.
  
  It is expensive? Yes. But if you have any sort of pride in the wedding you’re throwing, you won’t pinch pennies on food and service. My dad, who footed the bill, balked at the bill but readily admitted it was worth every penny. And as a grumpy old man, he is very difficult to please. And while he often criticizes my choices because they are “unnecessarily expensive”, he actually commended me on selecting Tres LA (and Carondelet House).

  Working with the incredible team at TresLA was an actual dream come true. My husband and I knew we wanted the food and drinks to be a focal point at our wedding and this team delivered above and beyond what we even expected.
  
  We had the pleasure of working with Jen at the Ebell Long Beach and she made our wedding day the best day of our lives. I can not say enough about what a caring, thoughtful, incredibly reliable, magical coordinator Jen was. She anticipated some of our wants before we could even ask for them. She expertly guided us through Tres LA's expansive menu and even worked with us to add off-the-menu desserts and appetizers that were really important to us. She was truly a delight to work with and we can not imagine our special day without her and her amazing team. We cannot thank them enough.
  
  To this day our guests still tell us that the dinner and appetizers they had at our wedding were the best they have had.   My husband and I got married at Cielo Farms on October 1, 2021, where Tres LA is the dedicated catering group. We recognized the name when we saw the vendor list and were excited because our friends had worked with Tres LA at Ebell Long Beach a couple years prior and we knew the food was good! Planning a wedding during covid presented its challenges, and Tres LA worked with us to ensure we had an exceptional catering experience from beginning to end. Rob locked us in for our wedding day at Cielo Farms after our original wedding venue canceled on us, and made sure we were well taken care of. Kelsie and Elise worked with us on the day of plans and executed our day beautifully. Our guests enjoyed everything from the passed hors d'oeuvres to the main entrees. The menu selections are diverse and high quality with fresh ingredients. During the wedding day, the staff made sure that my husband and I ate and could enjoy everything that was available for our guests. We heard positive feedback about the friendliness of the bartenders and staff and were grateful that our family and friends were comfortable and had a positive experience. Our catering was outstanding for our wedding day, our guests ate every last bit of their meals and were racing after the appetizers - you will not be disappointed.
