It is difficult to put into words how amazing this travel agency is. I chose to have a destination wedding, and with that decision came a wave of anxiety. We spent months trying to find a great travel agent to help us make our fantasy wedding come true, but none of them clicked. At some point we actually were reconsidering having a destination wedding, until we called TravelSmiths. With one call with Sally, I instantly felt a connection, followed by a calmness and confidence that this company would be the one that would help in making our dream wedding come true.
The first step was finding a destination, where do you start! Sally took the time to have numerous phone calls with my then fiancé about what we preferred. She asked us all types of questions, helping us narrow down island by island. Once we picked Jamaica, the TravelSmith team helped us get down there Labor Day weekend for a preview.
In addition to having Sally help with choosing our destination, we had also met Jamie, our wedding planner. She was absolutely unbelievable. Her knowledge, followed by her kindness, helped make the planning process a breeze. I am not a planner by any means, but Jamie made sure things were broken up in deadlines so that I at no point felt over whelmed. She understood my "Type A" personality, (which is not an easy one to deal with), and was patient with me even in my most intense "freak out" bride moments. She made sure to correspond with the wedding coordinator down in Jamaica on a weekly basis, and constantly made sure I was always in the loop. Her suggestions were helpful, her creativity unique and perfect. I could not have imagined planning this wedding without her.
Once our wedding was booked, the entire TravelSmith team helped get our family and friends to the Hyatt Ziva/Zilara in Montego Bay, Jamaica flawlessly. We had 102 guests, all of which said booking was a breeze thanks to the assistance and professionalism of the TravelSmith team.
