As someone who has photographed events, I know it’s important to hire someone who knows what they’re doing, not just to take great photographs, but to also be able to interact with large crowds of people, maintain a schedule, and have a charming personality the whole time. Tracy excels in all these categories.
I first found Tracy on theknot.com while perusing options in the Nashville area, and I instantly knew she was the right one. I was so glad we managed to book her (we reached out about ten months in advance), because she fit our budget perfectly, with room for my fiance to take bridal photos months before the wedding (she also takes great engagement photos). The bridal photos were taken at the venue (the Nashville Public Library), and they managed to get some beautiful photos of her in her dress. One of the photos is currently Tracy’s facebook cover photo.
On the wedding day, Tracy and her partner Jason arrived right on schedule, and split up to get coverage of both wedding parties getting dressed. From frame one they were ready to go and didn’t lose the momentum. To save time, the family and wedding party portraits were split before and after the ceremony.This proved to be the best scheduling decision, because we were able to take family photos after the ceremony in just minutes, and we still had plenty of time for cocktail hour.
They followed our wishes to be less obtrusive with our photos, so they definitely respond well to directions and personal choices. They also took photos of all the little details, like the place settings, flowers, handmade signs, etc. The reception photos truly capture how funny and weird our guests got on the dance floor. Just a couple days after the wedding we got a generous handful of preview photos, and they exceeded even my expectations. Months later, I still go into my wedding photo folder and look through them to relive the memories.

Tracy was awesome ! She did our engagement photo shoot and wedding ,she was so patient in both the occasions. She made us feel at ease right from the beginning. Me and my husband were a little nervous in giving poses but she made us feel like its no big deal. Especially on my wedding day it was quite hot and humid-June 30 2018. She and her sister were not just patient but they were with us all throughout guiding us and capturing our best moments. She was also pretty quick and alert in capturing all the best moments during our wedding. I definitely recommend Tracy to anyone looking for a good photographer. I have to say - I cannot believe how much I lucked out with Tracy!! I had the most amazing time working with her! She has the most romantic and classy eye which is why I chose her - when I look at my pictures, they make me remember a day of romance, joy and support all wrapped into one. My images are bright, romantic, fun, and crisp looking - and 6 months later I still revel in the (almost) 1,000 quality images she delivered (within 3 weeks!). She was super upbeat and fun the day-of, and I think that's almost as important as quality when selecting a photographer! Even though we were running behind schedule on the day of the wedding, she kept me and my girls calm by not getting rattled and continuing on about our photo schedule and our images didn't suffer one bit. I had my "Pinterest" list (of course) and we did get those images/poses in, but the ones I like the best are the ones she came up with on the spot. You can just tell that she's been doing this forever and loves what she does. I still can't believe how much I lucked out with the most important vendor of the day. I'd recommend Tracy to anyone :)
