Of course, the pictures were stunning. After he sent the photos over to us (nice and quickly!) about 12 of our friends/family had new phone backgrounds. The photos. Are. Amazing.
We realized one of Tim’s superpowers is his ability to take charge/direct a group of people in a fun/friendly way to get all the different pictures we needed. From family photos and fun shots to entire wedding group photos – he did this seamlessly and it took a lot of pressure off us. Might not sound like a big deal – but day of, this was a huge relief as things move really fast.
With all the different components of a wedding that need to come together – we highly recommend working with Tim, so you know that the wedding photos piece is in the best of hands.

Tim Greenway Photography was amazing! We talked to a bunch of different photographers and landed on Tim for a couple reasons. First, he took the time to get to know us as a couple! That was the most important. He made us feel comfortable and confident. Secondly, he showed us his great work and we knew Tim was the right choice.

The end result was exactly what we wanted! Tim worked great with all of our vendors to make sure the timeline and details were done flawlessly. The pictures came out better than we could have imagined!

We selected Tim because of his photojournalistic style and his incredibly pleasant demeanor. We cannot be happier with our choice. Tim's photographs were gorgeous. He captured the day perfectly -- the beauty of the location, the wonderful reunion of family after a long period of time apart, and the overall joy of the day. He was also incredibly flexible and stayed longer than we had asked. The photographs were amazing and exceeded all of our expectations!

Tim was a true professional who captured our special wedding day with stunning photos that we continue to treasure. He was personable, responsive, creative and delivered in style. Our pre-meeting showed me that he was truly interested in learning the specifics and unique features of our wedding, the outdoor location, and our hopes and wishes. That translated into his capturing the real spirit and character of our wedding. We had a wonderful photo shoot down by the harbor prior to the wedding, and then Tim shot the whole wedding day and into the night in an unobtrusive way, capturing both the expected highlights as well as many fun, lovely details that most photographers would miss. Our day included a crashing rain shower late in the afternoon, but that was handled in stride. As the night fell, we talked to Tim and immediately saw some creative opportunities with strung lights, umbrellas, and other options that he incorporated beautifully. All in all, we were truly satisfied and grateful to have a beautiful full visual record of our memorable wedding.

Tim was by far the best investment we made for our wedding day. Tim provided us with beautiful photographs that bring us back to our wedding day each time we look at them. We love seeing all our special moments that tell the story of our wedding day perfectly. We have received so many compliments on the photographs and many of our guests commented on Tim’s professionalism and fun attitude. We received our photographs 2 weeks after the wedding and we were so excited to share them with our friends and family.

Tim customized a photography package just for us. Booking was very easy and organized. From our initial discussions with Tim, he helped us define our vision of our wedding along with assisting us with scheduling our day and suggesting photogenic locations. We selected Tim because we really loved his portfolio and candid photography style.

I am not the most comfortable in front of the camera but Tim took stunning photographs of me. I couldn’t have been happier. Tim made everybody extremely comfortable with the camera and was a wonderful source of calmness during the chaos of the day. He is very sweet and thoughtful and blended right in with our wedding guests.

We are so glad that we decided to have Tim photograph our wedding. Our day wouldn’t have been the same without him and we absolutely love all our amazing photographs and can’t stop looking at them.

I contacted four photographers for our October 2016 wedding. What convinced us that Tim was the Right photographer for us was his intent interest in what we wanted. We were not just another couple to Tim. He took the time to get to know us and our particular style. Our goal was to enjoy our wedding and we asked Tim for a journalistic approach - just capture what happens - instead of countless poses. He embraced our goals and exceeded our expectations in capturing so many details of the day. Tim was respectful of our guests and we felt like he was a friend, fitting in easily with the spirit of the day. He made everyone relax with his relaxed approach. “The wedding photographer so nice, I hired him twice!” I had a remarkable experience using Tim as a photographer during my first wedding, so I didn’t hesitate to call him up for my second.

Whereas the first wedding was formal—reveal of the dress, official ceremony, etc.—my second marriage was freewheeling and fun. We had a handful of friends meet us at City Hall and they came dressed in crazy wigs, with fistfuls of balloons.

Tim captured the spontaneity of the moment, the look of surprise and joy on the city clerk’s face, the circus-like ascent up a spiral marble staircase…and our love was perfectly framed at the center of each shot.
