About
My mother, Ida Dickerson, was a marriage commissioner from the 1970’s until her death in 1986. She inspired me to follow in her footsteps and carry on the tradition in her honor. She truly enjoyed marrying people, whether it was at the Yorktown Monument or in a grocery store (because that’s where the couple met, and that’s where they wanted to get married). My mother made sure every wedding she performed, no matter how large or small was memorable and special. That is exactly what I strive to do. Each wedding, each bride and groom are special, and their ceremony needs to be unique and memorable.
I am not only a marriage commissioner, but also a Notary Public, a small business owner (the Academy of Bartending), and a avid horse enthusiast.
