Thor did an absolutely amazing job capturing special memories at our wedding! His photos were beautiful and I continue to be amazed by them every time I look at them!

I don't know what I can say about Thor except for I can't wait for the next milestone in our lives that he can photograph. He was with me from the minute I started getting ready till late in the evening capturing my day. The pictures, the expressions...it's not staged, he has this ability to capture us as people. We had so much fun with him in between the ceremony and the reception, he had scouted a beautiful spot for us to take some pictures outdoors and we even stopped for ice cream and went to Menards in between (my husband's favorite spot on earth.) He captured us as a couple. He is like always there to capture moments but very unobtrusive. He's a true artist. We have some of the most amazing pictures. Very very happy with him! Throughout our wedding planning process, Thor maintained prompt, ongoing communication with us about the details of the day's schedule and what we wanted for our photos. He worked hard to accommodate our time frame and even provided helpful, well researched suggestions for outdoor photo location and the photos came out beautifully in the fall color. He continued to be in touch after the day in anticipation of how excited we were to see all the photos!

Thor was able to beautifully take all of the classic shots we wanted while also capturing the day with a thoughtful, artistic perspective. We requested photos with a number of our guests at the reception and he was able catch them all (we have a large family so this was not an easy task!) and so much more! The impromptu photos of the reception were some of our favorites! We loved looking through our photos and seeing the detail of everything we had worked so hard to plan - my dress and jewelry, the decorations, the food, the cake... in the moment everything happens so quickly and it was like reliving the day all over again and brought us so much joy.

We were so impressed with the service Thor provided on our wedding day. We were astonished with not only his abilities, but his overall dedication to seeing our wedding day run as smoothly and stress free as possible. He is patient and personable, yet still authoritative enough to direct large groups of people with ease, which allowed for us to capture beautiful pictures of my husband and I, our wedding party (16 people), and families (this would include nearly 20 additional people) in a half hour. His attention to detail made for stunning shots of elements of our wedding day that may have been forgotten otherwise. At the reception, he brought so much life to the party! He coordinated with the DJ and event staff, encouraged guests and found his way to the dance floor to show of his moves and capture the best shots of our guests having so much fun! These are some of our favorite pictures! One of the most special moments of the night was during our reception when Thor suggested we sneak out and get a few more shots before the sun set. We were so nervous and hesitant because we felt like we had an obligation to remain with our guests and 'get the show on the road' (we hadn't had our first dance or cut the cake), but decided to go and take advantage of the beautiful scenery. I truly believe that the time we had alone together, enjoying the silence and serenity, set the tone for the rest of our evening by allowing us some time to quiet our souls and rejoice in the day instead of getting caught up in the 'hustle and bustle'. We are so incredibly thankful for Thor and would recommend him to anyone who wants their wedding or event captured in a thoughtful, unforgettable way.

Thor*tography did our wedding - I was so incredibly pleased with everything from start to finish! Thor also took our engagement photos - we had initially hired someone else to do our wedding but it wasn't a great fit and that photographer released us from our contract. It quickly became clear Thor was a perfect fit for us.
During our engagement session, Thor put us at such ease. We had a blast during our time together and felt very natural during the shoot - as if we were just hanging out together and happened to have Thor as a friend hanging out with us. Once we got our engagement photos back, we knew we were going to LOVE our wedding photos. Thor captured us so well and we loved every shot he took.
The day of our wedding, Thor was there every minute, and it felt like he entered into our joy and celebration not only as a photographer but also as a valued friend. Thor has a way of being actively present during the day but is also able to almost let you forget that he's taking photos so you're really able to just enter into the moments of the day and not be distracted by the photography.
Our guests commented on how awesome he was - even months after our wedding, our guests often brought up his name as being so fun to have at the wedding and how much they enjoyed being around him.
We LOVED our wedding photos - Thor was able to capture so many moments...and his artistic eye/worldview was exactly what we wanted/hoped for. The photos remind us of the joy and delight of that season of life.
As a bride, Thor made me feel good; helped me remember what was important during the engagement and wedding season, and was just a delight to work with. I went from feeling stressed out by the previous experience with the other photographer to just having a joyful, delightful time with Thor as our wedding photographer.

THOR*tography was EXCELLENT! I had access to pictures within 2 weeks of my wedding, but more importantly I didn't have to worry about one thing on my wedding day. Thor met with my husband and I ahead of time to discuss what we were looking for out of our wedding day and he also sent us a form to fill out about ourselves and specific pictures we wanted. He really focused on getting what we wanted out of our day as well as using his gifted talents! He also did a great job moving family photos along and helping to keep things organized! Highly recommend!
