I was lucky enough to find The Write Occasion to assist with addressing my invitations for 2 separate occasions and the quality of her work is perfectly done. She pays attention to detail and is a pleasure to work with. For an example of her kind, professional care that sticks out in my mind is on the last set of invitations. I contacted The Write Occasion for an Engagement Party we were hosting for our son and fiance. We chose to make this a memorable event with 150 guests and I certainly needed help with nice quality calligraphy addressed for both the invitations and RSVP cards. Well, the quality exceeded my expectations and now I have reached out to ask for help with the Rehearsal Dinner invitations and RSVP cards again for the wedding. Absolutely Beautiful Work! Lori did our envelopes for our wedding invitations, as well as the dinner place cards for the rehearsal dinner and reception. She was very responsive to emails and texts. Lori's work is stunning and speaks for itself. However her quick responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine interest in helping us complete a gorgeous wedding invitation suite and to write a STUNNING wedding contract make her an absolute treasure. This is an absolute no-brainer. Lori is one of the most fun and professional vendors I've ever worked with. It was serendipitous really... I had taken a calligraphy class with her a few years ago. Fast forward to 2016, I'm browsing a local gift shop and I see handmade thank you notes and a map of Charlotte that I knew I needed to have personalized for my own wedding. I flip over the cards and lo and behold - it was Lori with The Write Occasion! I called her and within a matter of days she knew exactly what I wanted. She helped us to create a customized wedding map of Charlottesville (which is still my favorite piece of the wedding planning so far), custom brunch invites, and custom thank you notes with matching lined envelopes. It's like she could reach inside my mind and put my vision on paper.

Lori was extremely helpful and easy to work with! She did our gorgeous outer envelopes and also created our Program and Welcome sign using paint on picture frame glass.
