Who can pull off a wedding in six weeks?? You can if you work with Wedding loft! Marita captured my vision and gave us a beautiful event. I can only imagine if we gave her more time. Such a pleasure to work with too!

Marita and her team took our request to source native Australian flowers for our wedding and delivered stunning arrangements that recieved rave reviews from Americans and Australians alike. She was friendly, flexible, able to work with our budget and gave great advice. She showed up early on the big day and made sure everything was perfect. As someone who works at weddings every weekend I've seen hundreds of florists and Marita was the obvious choice.

Marita and her assistant Mari were absolutely amazing. They provided affordable, expert, and caring day-of-the-wedding coordination for my daughter’s wedding on March 9, 2019.  As mother-of-the-bride, I was doing much of the planning since my daughter works full-time and attends graduate school at night. Initially, Marita invited me and my daughter to meet with her several months prior to the wedding and we thoroughly discussed our plans. She kept in regular contact with me between our initial meeting and the wedding. Marita read and responded to all of my emails in a very timely manner and nudged me when she needed additional information. We also met two days prior to the wedding when I dropped off the escort cards, gift card box, and decorations.

Marita provided essential advice during the planning process.  As the wedding day approached, she reached out to all of the vendors multiple times to make sure that everyone was prepared. Marita attended the rehearsal the night before the wedding and provided essential guidance regarding how to arrange the ceremony. On the wedding day, she arrived at the venue prior to the wedding party and vendors so she could greet everyone and understand what was being done.

As a result of her excellent coordination, the wedding and reception went extremely well.  Mari provided strong support.  Timeline in hand, both were ahead of so many things. 

While we did have a professional photographer documenting everything, Marita took photos and videos with her cell phone and sent them to me that night and the next morning which was much appreciated.

At the end of the evening, Mari extracted flowers from one of the large florist bouquets to transform them into a lovely and manageable arrangement in a vase I brought so they easily could be transported back to the hotel.

She also checked in with me to make sure all went well on the return trip to the hotel.

It is very clear that Marita is extremely experienced and will do an excellent job in planning, providing day-of-the-wedding services, and also flowers. I cannot praise her enough!

We absolutely loved our flowers for our wedding day! Marita worked with us to stay in budget, yet have an elegant and tasteful floral presence. The flowers were of outstanding quality and lasted for days!

Just. a note to tell you how much we appreciated the servies we received from Wedding Loft. Beginnig with the photography at both our engagement in Paris, to our wedding here in Alexandria and ending with a fantastic wedding album, it was professional and beautiful.
Of course, we cannot say enough good things about the flowers for all our events. The sunflowers at the rehearsal dinner which were then recycled into the courtyard of the church for the reception (a genious idea) were just stunnng. We loved the attendants coursages and the flowers in the front of the church made to match our color scheme of yellow and purple and green. Fantastic.
Of course we thank you then again for the table flowers at the reception. So many people commented on how lovely they were....and we agree.
All your flowers contributed to a lovely wedding event and we thank you so much. You took all the worry away from us and produced a memorable weekend of photos and flowers. And all for our agreed upon price - a unique outcome.

Marita is truly an artist. I had a very specific image in mind for our wedding, but needed help bringing it to life, and Marita did just that with her floral arrangements. Our wedding was at a vineyard in July, and I was set on having muted pinks, and crème flowers. Marita is a lover of bright color, but she understood my vision, and was able to deliver.

We met twice before the wedding, and she showed me every single flower she would be using. Certain individual flowers were too bright for me, so she found muted alternatives. I wanted pale earthy green vines, and loose bouquets, and again, she completely understood. I also requested a certain shade of peonies, which were challenging to get in July. But she worked hard to find them, and got the exact kind I wanted.

She’s also very respectful of budget, and was much more reasonably priced compared to many other vendors. But I do not feel at all that her services are of lesser value.

On the day of the wedding I hardly saw Marita, but was able to trust she would do a phenomenal job. I did not feel the need to have anyone check on what she was doing – we had set a plan and I felt confident in her. And she absolutely delivered. Looking back in pictures I am blown away by the beauty of my bouquet, and our table arrangements. She truly brought my vision to life, and I am so grateful!

Working with Marita was an ABSOLUTE pleasure! She's easily one of the most professional, down-to-earth, responsive and kindest people you'll ever meet. I didn't feel like I was working with "just another vendor" - I felt that I was working with a friend (someone who genuinely cared about my needs/wants). Being that I eloped, none of my friends were involved in the planning process. Marita stepped up and gave me all of the the candid advice and feedback/guidance I needed! I felt a lot less stressed because of her help! She didn't have to go the extra mile, but she did and that is something I will always remember. I could go on forever about my experience with her!!! JUST HIRE HER!

Marita from the wedding loft did my flowers because I remembered how amazing she was at a friend of mine's wedding 9 years ago. When I called her and told her that I was interested because I remembered her from that long ago, she was shocked, but happy to hear! She did an amazing job! We could not have been happier! I was a tough customer too - I wanted a lot of really unique things done that she'd never done before, like some amazing bouts with coxcomb and thistle and she pulled it all off - the flowers were absolutely amazing!!
