We couldn’t have asked for a better band for our wedding!! Joanne and Ryan were incredibly easy to work with and very responsive throughout the planning process. We had the best time going through their extensive song list (if only we’d had 24 hours on the dance floor!). Having great, authentic music and a lively dance floor was really important to us, and they absolutely delivered. They took the time to understand what mattered most to us and were completely on board with our one-off ideas, including a second line dance, which ended up being a highlight of the night. Beyond the music, they kept the evening flowing smoothly - introducing speeches, first dances, and making everything feel seamless. The Vineshakers are talented musicians and entertainers, and our guests are still talking about how amazing they were. We couldn’t recommend them more highly!

The Vine Shakers are incredible! They brought such energy and excitement to our wedding. They are such gifted musicians and truly know how to work a room. It was easy to correspond with them and they did such a great job of handling music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The Vine Shakers were absolutely incredible and made our wedding unforgettable! So many of our guests said it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to—and we couldn’t agree more. They kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night and created such an electric, joyful energy. They even learned a Pink Floyd song that was really special to me and my dad, which meant the world to us. On top of their talent, Ryan and the band were just such kind, wonderful people to work with. I can’t recommend them enough—they’re the best.

We hired The Vine Shakers for my June 2024 wedding in Vermont, and from the start, Joanne and Ryan were a joy to work with. I spoke with a lot of bands before landing on them, and I ultimately chose them because they felt like more than just a cookie-cutter wedding band. They seemed authentic — talented musicians who have played together for years and are passionate about what they do.

Well, I chose right. Our dance floor was packed all night, and we received so many compliments about them, including requests for their info for other weddings. What I loved the most was how personable they were throughout the whole event — listening to speeches, making funny jokes and connections between songs, offering me a tambourine to shake, and even signing my guest book!

Our venue coordinator said they did the best version of the hora she had seen in her eight years of experience. They also accommodated all our requests — learning new songs for us, singing our first dances live, and even doing a second line (a tradition from New Orleans).

They were communicative throughout the entire planning experience, helping me figure out venue-specific sound issues, making last-minute changes to my ceremony music, addressing any concerns, and offering great suggestions. They never hesitated to connect on a call or video chat!

And back to the talent — AMAZING voices! We also wanted a horn section, and WOW, it made a huge difference! Plus, they know so many different songs that we honestly had TOO many to choose from. Please do not hesitate to book this band. They are the real deal. They made my wedding so fun and special, and I’ll be forever grateful to them.

Months later our wedding guests are still talking about how incredible our band was! Ryan and Joanne did an amazing job interpreting our vision for the whole event, from sourcing and managing ceremony strings, to learning songs for our special dances, and (most importantly) keeping the dance floor packed all night with fun songs that didn't make it feel like any other wedding. We are so glad we opted to include horns; the trumpeter was absolutely phenomenal. Despite being nervous about originally booking the Vine Shakers sight unseen we couldn't be happier!

The Vine Shakers were INCREDIBLE! We cannot recommend them enough they made our wedding people cannot stop raving and no one stopped dancing! Don’t even look elsewhere this is the band you need to make your wedding unforgettable!

We used the Vineshakers for our wedding on Martha's Vineyard and they were fantastic. They were incredibly easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, amenable to our requests and absolutely rocked our wedding reception. For our ceremony we used a solo guitarist from the group who also sang during the processionals which provided a really nice touch. For the reception we would highly recommend the 10 piece band; the energy was really palpable. The band read the room of the reception incredibly well and multiple older guests remarked on the familiarity of the songs they played. We cannot recommend The Vineshakers enough!!!

Title says it all! They played at our wedding this summer and our guests danced the entire night. Amazing voices, amazing selection of songs and just great people all around I cannot say enough good things.

The Vine Shakers were incredible! We booked them after seeing them at a friend's wedding, and they did not disappoint. I've been an amateur musician my whole life and am super particular about music, but the Vine Shakers blew me (and our guests) away!

From the very start, Ryan and Joanne (the band leaders) were really nice and easy to work with. We liked that they felt a bit more personal than some of the larger wedding band operations. They coordinated the PA system for our ceremony and a trio of the musicians played jazz for our cocktail hour - both of those were perfect. For the reception, the band put together a great setlist. They flowed seamlessly between high-energy dance songs and slower music during dinner, and they played a bunch of different styles that all worked smoothly together. Their mix was excellent, and they kept the volume at a perfect level all night. They even learned and played 3 songs for us that are not on their normal song list, including a 7+ minute song that they knocked out of the park.

We got comments all night (and after the wedding) from friends and family about how great the Vine Shakers were, and 2 of our friends even planned to hire them for their weddings. We could not have asked for a better band, and we can't recommend them highly enough!

Hiring the Vine Shakers was probably the best wedding planning decision we made; except for the church - we LOVED the church. They were SO responsive and the music they played during our reception had everyone both WOWED and dancing all night. I had a lot of specific requests for music and they totally got it and incorporated those requests. The musicians were great. Joanne was amazing. I got complements all night on the band and people wondering who they were.
