We set our wedding date for May 23, 2020. We selected Drew from Vanlandingham Design Studios as our wedding planner. He walked with us through every step of the planning process: selecting a venue, caterer, DJ, flowers, linens, etc. With the passing of each month our excitement grew, little did we know that a pandemic would turn our world, our lives, and our plans upside down and inside out!

We ended up moving the wedding date not once, but twice as we navigated COVID 19 and federal, state and local executive orders that prohibited large group gatherings, then allowed indoor gatherings and then prohibited large group, outdoor gatherings. Drew was amazing! He talked us off the ledge a few times and was able to respond to every challenge placed before us. He found a new venue, contacted the caterers, DJ and everyone else involved in our wedding celebration. It was a herculean task and he met it with grace, calm, and focus.

We got married on August 8, 2020. Our wedding day exceeded our expectations! Our wedding plans now included safety measures that included: custom face masks for all our guests, multiple hand sanitizer stations, social distancing and requested that our guests wear face masks on the dance floor…which they did. Not only were our guests amazed by the beauty of the venue, the surroundings, the ambiance, the food, and the celebration; they felt safe.
None of this would’ve been possible without Drew and his team from Vanlandingham Design Studios.

I would not recommend planning a wedding during a pandemic, but I highly recommend Vanlandingham Design Studios as your wedding planner. He will help you create an event that will live in your hearts and memories for a lifetime!

Drew was an absolute delight to work with. His professionalism and vision will ensure that you have an amazing and memorable event. We had a pretty hands off approach to our wedding and Drew guided us every step of the way. He has an amazing network of vendors he works with, and they ensured that our vision came to life.

From our first consultation through the final walk through, Drew kept us on track. He scheduled all of our appointments with the vendors, and helped us realize the vision we didn't know we even had. We thought we knew what we wanted, but Drew's keen eye and sense of knowing what to do to make your event pop really made that a reality that exceeded our expectations.

He knew which vendors would work best for us, and helped us connect with amazing decorators, florists, DJ, photographer, florist, and minister. We had a great hotel venue, but turning a ballroom into a masterpiece is what Drew does.

Drew and the Vandlandingham Design Studio completely exceeded my expectations. The people that worked our venue (Ravens Stadium) said it was THE MOST beautiful wedding they had ever seen there - even better than player's weddings! Drew took my vision and made it reality. Our guests cannot stop talking about how beautiful everything was. He was available 24/7 - even at midnight when I was having a meltdown. His taste level is amazing and he covered every last detail. My husband and I said that for our 25th anniversary, we are throwing another party - and having Drew plan it!

I LOVE Drew Vanlandingham!!! He was a life saver! My (now husband) and I met him half way through our wedding planning. We didn't think we needed much help planning but still decided to meet for a consultation. When we met him at his office for our initial consultation, I immediately fell in love with his genuine loving spirit and charisma, not to mention he is hilarious too! He was so knowledgeable in terms of vendors (he knows everyone out there) He was able to gather where I was with my planning and what I still needed. After our meeting, we decided to hire him because it turns out I was in need of a lot of help! However, it was the best decision I could have ever made! He started working with my vendors and picked right up as if he had been planning my wedding since day one. He was sensitive to my budget and when a new vendor came back with a high proposal, he went to bat for me when I told him I needed to bring the cost down. From the moment he stepped in, I really felt like I had someone in my corner throughout the entire planning process. The day of my wedding, my venue looked like it was worth 1 million dollars. Both my husband and I were speechless. He, along with the venue coordinator, really outdid themselves. They were both my heroes on my wedding day. My guests could not stop talking about the elegant and tastefully decorated room they were sitting in. My husband and I were thrilled with everything! He was worth every cent I spent on him--and then some! I would use him again and again, no questions asked, he is truly a gem.

We met Drew two months after we became engaged. We had already selected a venue, and met him at an open house at the venue. We arranged for a dinner meeting to discuss ideas and possibilities. Our meeting was fantastic, and we hired him the next day. And we could not have done it all without him! He handled so many details, kept us on target budget and time wise, and helped us construct a team of wonderful vendors. His insight was an absolute asset in sifting through the hundreds of vendors out there to find a short list of the best in each area (caterer, flowers, etc.). Some people may balk at the cost of a wedding planner, however it was 100% worth it. Aside from handling all of the day of details so that my husband (to be) could relax and enjoy our day, just about every vendor we worked with gave us some sort of discount for being a customer of Drew's. No detail was left out, and no problem was too difficult for Drew to tackle. We are truly grateful for Drew and his team, and could not recommend him enough!!

Loved working with Drew! Design is really what makes him stand above the crowd. He associates and knows the best vendors in the wedding business and he will create an experience for you that you never imagined.

He always made it fun and had me laughing through the tears and fatigue of not being able to make a decision.

He is focused, detail oriented and above all listens to you and does not make you feel inferior.

He is present through the entire rehearsal and wedding day, "making it work." You can see him in several pictures working tirelessly.

He is also an excellent problem solver because there are always last minute glitches. The air conditioning did not work in the church that day when we arrived. He was already troubleshooting and thirty minutes prior to the ceremony they had tricked the computer to think that it was Monday and the air came on... It was a miracle! Glad I did not have to deal with it.

The day was beautifully and artfully staged without anyone being aware of it.

Can not say enough good things about having a wedding planner like Drew!

Planning our wedding with Drew was an amazing experience. His attention to detail is beyond the scope of the average planner. He and his team made our wedding a fairy tale and the process was fun. There were very few issues that came up during the planning, but when any did, Drew listened to my concerns (and my mothers) and worked with us and the vendors to make everyone happy, especially me. My husband was not able to be present for most of the process as he is stationed in California, but having Drew and my mother made it a very special time. I loved the "Tuesdays with Drew", it was usually the highlight of my week. From start to finish (and even after) he was attentive, responsive, and just a pleasure to know and work with. He made wedding planning seem easy, even though everyone knows that it's really not! I had minimal stress but made the big decisions without being overwhelmed and being completely satisfied.

The Vanlandingham Design Studio made my day a dream come to life... but better! Drew was able to take my vision and turn it into an unbelievable experience for everyone involved. I would have never had anywhere near the caliber of wedding without Drew involved. Nothing Drew does is 'average.' Everything he does has his heart and soul put into it. Drew does not change your taste or vision, but he will present ideas you would have never thought of on your own. He is able to think outside of the box to make sure your event is special and unique to who you are and what you want to accomplish. My wedding day was the best day of my life... all of the planning and coordination lead down to one day - Drew and his team took care of everything and I was able to enjoy the day with my new husband, friends and family.
