The historic Union Club of Cleveland provides an unparalleled ambiance for your special day. Our Ballroom is one of Cleveland 's most sophisticated spaces, accommodating up to 250 attendees.
The Union Club’s stately crest and grand clubhouse speak clearly of prestige and precedent. Throughout our handsome corridors, up our marble staircase, from the corners of our richly paneled Reading Room, and across our spacious Ballroom echo the voices of the luminaries who have shaped The Union Club since our founding in 1872. The Union Club continuously endeavors to provide unrivaled facilities and impeccable service consistent with our traditional emphasis on gracious hospitality and timeless elegance.
Our Wedding packages are inclusive and offers the following:
~ On site event coordinator
~ Valet parking, service charge and taxes
~ Floor length linen tablecloths, napkins, and flatware
~ Butler passed hors d’ oeuvres
~ Complimentary wedding cake cutting
~ Complimentary bartenders and coat check
~ Complimentary day use of a Parlor; great to use for hair/makeup prior to the ceremony
There is a $20,000 food and beverage minimum for 2025/2026 weddings; this is inclusive of service fee and tax on a Saturday.
All Wedding Receptions are subject to a $3,000 Venue Fee. The Venue Fee does not apply to the food and beverage minimum.
We can assist in hosting the ceremony for an additional fee.
History
The Union Club has a rich history dating back to 1872. The club was a group of cultured gentlemen of the highest status in the city at the time and throughout the ages. They originally met in a three-story brick landmark formerly known as the Truman Handy Mansion. The current clubhouse was commissioned in 1903 and completed in late 1905 by architect Charles Schweinfurth. It has since welcomed a number of influential figures including presidents and members of congress.

We were thrilled to have chosen the Union Club for our wedding reception and would recommend couples consider this venue for a memorable and timeless wedding day, especially around the holidays. The Union Club provides unforgettable high end service and an added bonus of a 2 month membership we enjoyed using. My bridesmaids and I stayed there the night before which was super convenient. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly!
