Phil was absolutely incredible! He completely nailed the exact vibe we were hoping for. We had a smaller wedding and he really listened to what we wanted and curated the perfect music all night long — the dance floor was moving and our guests had such a great time! On top of that, he was so kind, easy to work with, and so professional from start to finish. We are truly grateful for everything he did to make our wedding such a fun and unforgettable celebration. We never had an doubt about working with DJ Phil for our wedding, but boy did he deliver far beyond our expectations. Throughout the process Phil was extremely easy to work with. He didn’t bat an eye when we asked to change anything, including just a few weeks before the wedding when we asked if he had a specific type of photo booth. He didn’t, but before he got back to us, he went out and got one that fit our needs. Phil made sure that every single detail was exactly what we wanted, down to the exact wording to introduce the wedding party. He and his team were incredible the night of. The musicians were AMAZING and they learned all the songs we wanted, the photo booth attendants were friendly and helpful, and we got SO MANY compliments on the music. Every aspect of our experience using The Specialists was perfect for our September 2025 wedding. We met with Philip at their showroom in March to discuss what we wanted the wedding to look like, review timing and what equipment we would need, and discuss other options. Philip showed us many options - uplighting, special effects, loads of entertainment options like a live musician to accompany the DJ or play during cocktail/dinner times. Ultimately we went with cocktail hour music on a speaker system, and DJ services plus uplighting and intelligent lighting that provided a really cool effect on the dance floor. A few weeks before the wedding we sent Philip a list of songs we selected for first dances etc. as well as songs we "had" to hear (during dancing and during dinner), and songs that we "wanted" to hear if time allowed as well as general style of what we liked/disliked. When we walked into the venue it looked amazing - the lights they added were beautiful and made the whole ballroom look so polished and professional. Cocktail hour was a perfect volume and we loved the song selection. Dinner service was a great time to hear some of our less dance-oriented songs and they supplemented our selections really well. Philip was a pro at finding our toast-makers and directing them on where to go and provide the microphone. When it came time for first dances Philip did a great job of introducing everyone and playing the songs for a good length of time without it feeling too long or short. Once the dance floor opened it was NONSTOP dancing from almost every single one of our 130 guests for the remainder of the wedding. I don't think there was ever a time when there were less than 50 people on the dance floor, every single song was so fun and perfect for our crowd. Multiple people throughout the night kept saying to us how much they were enjoying the music. Philip was also great at accommodating last minute requests for a group dance song (Cha Cha Slide) that was requested by family, and for an impromptu thank you my husband wanted to make. Two weeks later and we are STILL getting rave reviews about the music from our wedding - everyone had so much fun and they were so impressed by how amazing The Specialists were. We wouldn't change a single thing about the music for our wedding and would recommend The Specialists to anyone looking for amazing DJs who can read yours and your guests minds and provide nonstop entertainment!!

Phil and his team were so great to work with. From the pre-wedding planning process all the way through our wedding night, Phil was very engaged and on top of everything. They kept the dance floor active the entire night. We received countless compliments about the live musician (the saxophonist) being a great touch. We definitely recommend using Phil and his crew!

Used specialists entertainment for my wedding in April and couldn’t have had a better experience. Before hand they were always responsive, and final meeting was extremely organized fun and helpful making the day of a breeze. They provided music for my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and I received compliments on it all. They set the mood, facilitated the day perfectly, and kept the party going all night! Couldn’t have asked for a better pair to work with. I also had a sax player which was a total hit- he was incredible. Cant recommend them enough and will definitely be using in the future 💕

We cannot say enough incredible things about DJ Phil, his team, and the entire entertainment package they provided! Adding to the magic, the live saxophonist and percussionist brought everything to the next level. The sax added this smooth, sophisticated layer to the music that gave our cocktail hour and dance sets such a unique, upscale feel. And the percussionist? Amazing choice! The live beats added so much life and rhythm to an already amazing night.

Every element was perfectly coordinated, and you could tell they were true professionals who love what they do. It felt like more than just entertainment – it was an amazing experience from the first time we met with Phil.
