Chef Anthony and his team exceeded our expectations! Our guests raved about the appetizers and our dinner buffet and several guests mentioned it was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding! Chef Anthony hosted an amazing pre-wedding tasting which helped us to plan our menu. He responded to emails promptly, had a warm and vivacious personality and clearly took pride in preparing every dish.. We highly recommend The Prancing Chef!

We booked TPC before tasting based on recommendations from our planner ( we lived 4 hours away and tasting wasn’t possible with the timeline). We wanted “california modern cuisine” and boy did Chef Anthony deliver. He ended up delivering a to-go tasting to our hotel when we came down for hair and make up trials, and we fell in love with the food. My favorite was the Tri tip and his sauces. Additionally, he made wonderful GF/DF/Vegan options for some of our guests - one even brought it up to me 6 months later!!

We did buffet style for 150 guests at Terra Mia and it was a total hit and much more reasonably priced compared to 2 other quotes we got. TWO THUMBS UP HERE! Thank you Chef Anthony!!!

We booked The Prancing Chef for a plated dinner, dessert, and bar service for our 40 person intimate wedding. From start to finish we were super impressed with Chef Anthony and his team. They were a joy to work with and really go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with the catering. The service on the day of was amazing, his staff were kind, warm, and joyful. They really matched the energy of the wedding which I loved. The food was absolutely delicious and the deserts were amazing. They even made a special desert for my guest with dietary restrictions and hand delivered it to her. Food was high on my list of priorities, and they definitely exceeded my expectations. Big thank you to Chef Anthony and his team, y’all are amazing!!

As many others have said, we would give Anthony and his team ten stars if we could! He and his team were such a pleasure to work with. They were so helpful in answering every single one of our questions and helping us plan the menu for our wedding. All of the food, from appetizers, to the main course, and finally dessert were all phenomenal. The Roasted Salmon Mi Cuit was hands down the best salmon I've ever had, and we saw so many guests going back to the buffet for seconds of everything.

We can not recommend the Prancing Chef enough, and we truly hope we'll have a chance to enjoy his food again in the future!

The Prancing Chef catered our wedding amidst the craziness of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we cannot recommend him enough for your wedding or any other event, big or small! Our wedding was originally planned as a 150+ person event to take place in Atascadero, but we ended up downsizing the wedding to a 14-person event that took place in Morgan Hill (about 2.5 hours north of Atascadero). Anthony was an absolute dream to work with through it all! He was incredibly flexible and accommodating of our needs during the stressful period while we were changing our wedding plans. Anthony was completely on board with changing the nature of the event from a 150-person buffet to a 14-person prix fixe dinner and enthusiastically (and quickly) came up with a new menu that was perfect for us. He was even willing to work with us and travel to Morgan Hill as we navigated late changes to the wedding ceremony. Through it all, Anthony never failed to maintain his positive attitude and cheerful demeanor. Anthony will do whatever it takes to make your event as perfect as possible, and he will do it all with a big smile on his face! The Prancing Chef helped make our wedding amazing with an incredibly delicious array of food -- we cannot speak highly enough of the Prancing Chef and the quality of the food and service he provides!

The food was amazing!!! It was delicious, it looked pretty and the service was fantastic! And Anthony worked with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.

Anthony and his team were great to work with, they were all so nice, everyone was on time or early (!!!), they went out of their way to help and everyone had such a positive attitude and were excited for us to be having this event.

The food was great, the desserts were wonderful and I would use them again and again if I lived in the area!!

Anthony and his Team took control and delivered. We are from out of town and Anthony communicated with my daughter to make sure that her special day was just that Special! I couldn’t be more pleased with how Anthony worked with me and my family to give us just exactly what we wanted. The food is terrific and Anthony loves to deliver the best. WOW! We had a Thanksgiving Day wedding that Anthony and his team were not only brave enough to work, they knocked it out of the park! They successfully served 50+ people a Thanksgiving feast we will never forget. Seriously, we have received compliments from just about every single guest on how incredible the food was which is just the best feeling when you spend a good chunk of $. We booked on a limb without many reviews available and we swear it was the best decision we made aside from getting married! I have several food allergies that Anthony worked around which was awesome. Anthony even went out of his way to prep us a personal appetizer plate he snuck us in between photos then again when dinner was being served! The service was outstanding, the food even better and attitude/vibes the greatest! I am already ready to plan an anniversary dinner, birthday party... anything that I can have the pleasure of having Anthony cook at again. Plus most all of the ingredients come from his own farm. Highly reccomend!!

Anthony and his partner, Josh, are the best at what they do. They are very accommodating for all dietary needs and assisted us every step of the way. They even ordered certain dining items for us to help simplify the process. Anthony and Josh were easy to work with, so kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. We were planning our wedding from New Orleans and no matter the question or need, Anthony responded to us that same day. Now, getting to the important part - the FOOD. The food on our wedding day (from the appetizers during cocktail hour to the main meal) exceeded our expectations. Not a detail was missed and the flavors were beyond yummy. All I can say is hire The Prancing Chef today. I promise you will not regret it. Anthony, you and Josh are a bride and groom's dream!
