About The Point

The Point — located in San Diego, California and serving clients in the La Jolla, Coronado, and Carlsbad regions — is a wedding event banquet hall that provides couples with the true Southern California experience. With a belief that weddings should be done your way, with no vendors, time restrictions, or other constraints, The Point will help you plan your wedding to your exact specifications. The venue offers a high-tech space that promotes sharing of images and other media, and it comes equipped with sustainably sourced raw wood tables. Whether you are looking for a casual or formal affair, The Point has you covered.

Facilities and Capacity
The Point offers a number of room rental options that add up to a combined total of 2,500 square feet of usable event space. In any of the rooms, you will be able to host up to 120 guests in white folding chairs. The rental rooms include the Bay Room, the Conference Room, and the Botanical Garden Room. There is also a 1,000-square-foot outdoor private garden that contains a light canopy and shade sails.

Services Offered
The Point offers a variety of services and amenities to wedding couples and their loved ones. Services extend to wedding ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, elopements, and rehearsal dinners. Services and amenities include setup and cleanup, event rental items, lighting and sound, and ample parking. The venue also provides all-inclusive packages that include bar services, event planning services, liability insurance, outside vendors, and complimentary WiFi.
