I had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Old Mill and I can’t recommend it enough! We worked with Rhetta and she was extremely responsive via email and helped everything run so smoothly on the day of. The place is beautiful, especially in the fall. Even though we got rained out of our outdoor ceremony overlooking the duck pond, there was still a beautiful indoor area available for us to use. We were also able to get ready there, as they have a bridal suite. And of course, the food was incredible!

Another plus is that their event space is up on the second floor, away from the main dining area of the restaurant, and it does have a separate entrance around back. So even though the restaurant was open during our wedding, we felt totally private in the event space. The Old Mill really made our wedding day perfect and I highly recommend them!

When people talk about the wedding they first comment on how beautiful my dress was and the next comment is always about how cozy the Old Mill was and how great the food was. I don't think you can get a better compliment than that!

My husband and I found this place through a justice of the pease website, he had a list of possible venues and we took an entire weekend and searched. When we came across this website I felt great about it. We sent a request via the website which did not seem to work out. No one got in touch with us for a couple days. You should definatly CALL when requesting any information. Kirsty the even manager was more than willing to take us on a tour of the place and answer any questions. This is a great place for a smaller wedding. We had about 50 guests. They provided the food and drink, table and chairs, grounds for ceremony. They set up all of our things for us. Favors, centerpieces, guest book, escort table EVERYTHING! The grounds are really so pretty. The one down side was this is a public restuarant they do not close it for wedding events. That being said I didn't mind at all. You don't notice anyone else. You get a private banquet room private outdoor patio and private cocktail room. I can't say enough good about this place. It was picture perfect in every way!


Also! We received a free dinner voucher for both of us to eat there on our one year anniversary!
