We were absolutely blown away by The Nightowls! My husband and I were lucky enough to catch them perform in Austin before our wedding, and they instantly became the element of our day that we were most excited about. Ryan, the band leader, was fantastic to work with—he truly understood our vision and brought it to life through music in a way that exceeded our expectations.

They were with us throughout the entire day, creating the perfect atmosphere during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and then taking the party to the next level at the reception. Once they hit the stage for the reception, no one wanted to leave the dance floor—it was electric! Their energy, talent, and ability to read the room were unmatched. Honestly, I didn’t want the night to end, and that’s largely thanks to the incredible vibes they created.

If you're thinking about splurging on anything for wedding... make it THIS BAND!! They were incredible. Since I started working with Ryan (main singer), he was incredibly responsive, kind, flexible, and willing to make this work. They are Austin-based and I had my wedding in Michigan, and they made it work. He was willing to go above and beyond during the planning period so that everything ran incredibly smooth the day of. Speaking of the day of.... once the band began the dance floor was absolutely packed and stayed that way until the very end. It was the most fun dance floor and they were all SO talented. Can't say enough good things about them - book them!!!

Ryan and his band, The Nightowls, absolutely brought down the house at our wedding with their limitless energy and soul! It was me and my husband's dream to have a second line exit, which they executed perfectly... up a giant staircase nonetheless! What an honor it was to have this fantastically talented group entertain us for the evening! Hands down they are the most fun and high-quality band that I have heard at a wedding! They played all the hits and I literally never left the dance floor a single time. Ryan even let me and my bridesmaids get on stage to sing and dance - such incredible memories all thanks to The Nightowls!

The Nightowls were the best part of my wedding. They had everybody (young and old) dancing all night! On top of that, they were so flexible and couldn't have been nicer. I hope I get to go to another wedding where they are performing! Your money is well worth the entertainment - trust me!!! I'm still getting compliments from my wedding guests about how much fun the band was and how it was the best band they have ever seen at a wedding. The BEST decision we made for our wedding!!!! They were absolutely amazing. When they started playing our last song (Shout!, which they did an awesome job of and had everyone dancing) I wanted to ask them to do another set to keep the night going! They truly made our wedding reception better than we ever could have imagined. Everyone was dancing the whole night and had an amazing time, which led to some incredible pictures!

Also, we had them learn a Beatles song for our first dance. My dad is a huge Beatles fan and I was very worried about having a cover of a Beatles song because he can be very critical. He was so impressed with them though and said they did a great job!

They really are the best wedding band ever!

I always knew that when I got married, I wanted people to DANCE. But I was so scared that we would spend money on a band and no one would dance. A quality band is something most folks can't add on willy-nilly -- we had to budget for a band in a big way. After hemming and hawing about a band vs a DJ, we finally decided band. My original thought was the Matchmaker Band, but they were booked, so I was offered The Nightowls. They all take part in the Matchmaker Band so they are all highly talented and the same catalog of songs is available. The Nightowls are awesome because you can add and remove pieces of the band to better suit your budget. At this point, I wanted the full "huge band" experience so we added every piece we could. The band, being the professionals they are, have a wide range of songs in their repertoire, so I went through their song list and categorized each one with a yes/no/maybe, and added a list of "can you play this if you know it?" songs. I told Ryan, their lead male vocalist, that I wanted people to dance and I would love it if they put on a great, high energy show for the reception. Well, ALL NIGHT LONG this band played like I've never seen before. It was AMAZING. People in my family that I have NEVER seen dance were out there dancing. My mom said, "You couldn't help it! You just HAD to dance!" It was so awesome! They were all SO NICE, too. Easy to communicate with, very understanding (weather issues, y'know). I'm so glad that we decided to go with The Nightowls, I can't imagine the night being any more fun. And the best part is, whenever my husband and I hear Motown music now (we're both huge fans), we're reminded of our wedding and how much fun it was! Book this band. You will NOT regret it.

This band is so good. They are incredibly fun and interactive with the crowd. They are mo-town and they can get the dance floor full in seconds. They played at my wedding and I have attended a wedding for a friend where they played and they have been a hit at both parties. I highly recommend them!

The Nightowls were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. They were AWESOME at our reception. Had everyone dancing all night long. Engaged the audience throughout. Ryan was a fantastic emcee. They even learned a few songs for our first dance and father/daughter dance. Would recommend them if you want to have the best reception possible at your wedding :)
