About
Cello Duets are perfect for weddings! Richer but more mellow than a string quartet ( and less expensive too! ) we will perfectly set the mood for your special day. We provide a wide range of music including traditional, classical, and light pop.
Barbara Naragon Michal served as Principal Cello of the Canton Symphony and Pro Musica Chamber Orchestra, as well as playing with the Akron and Columbus Symphonies. She played for the Los Angelas Philharmonic's Conductor Institute with Leonard Bernstein, Michael Tilson Thomas and Herbert Bloomstedt. She has also taught Cello and Music Theory at Kenyon College, University of Michigan, Ohio State University, and the University of Rio Grande.
Scott Michal played for many years in the cello section of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. He is a published, internationally performed composer, and has also taught Cello, Piano, Composition, and Song Writing at the Ohio State University, and the University of Rio Grande.
Together they have played as the Naragon Duo, delighting audiences with a mixture of cello duets, selections from the great cello/piano literature, and engaging arrangements by Scott of pop and classical standards.
