Ray was perfect! His experience in the industry really showed as he had great ideas for both the ceremony and reception. He was extremely accommodating and let me be as hands-on with the music as I wanted to be. I was worry-free the night of the wedding and a lot of my guests also came up to me and said how great the music was!

We were recommended to The Music Shop (Ray) by another DJ and he did an absolutely amazing job for our wedding reception. He was very flexible with meeting times prior to the event and was always easy to contact. Working with him was very hassle free, which is always great when planning all of the other things to go with a wedding. We gave him a list of songs that we like to listen to for cocktail hour (and any songs he didn't have he downloaded them for no extra charge), and then asked him to just feel the crowd for the rest of the reception and it was really great, the dance floor was packed the whole night and people were still staying and milling around afterwards, after nearly 3.5 hours of dancing. I'd recommend him for anyone having a party and ensure a fun time!

The Music Shop did the music for my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They did an amazing job!! I was so pleased with their services. They played the music that I wanted and then they did an excellent job at reading the crowd and getting people up to dance. They were easy to work with and were great the day of. We had the best time!!!

I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Ray did a great job, he listened to my "do not" and "must play" lists (which were very extensive) and also did the lighting which was gorgeous! I would highly recommend him especially great value for your money.

Ray was great to work with ... He was very reassuring that he would do whatever he needed to to make sure our big day went without a hitch. I was ve convenient to also get our lighting from him as well. Very affordable and he did a great job getting the party started and keeping it going.

Ray was really easy to work with and very understanding of my tight budget. He was prompt in responding to my emails and we worked together to put together all of our favorite songs together and he really made the night perfect!

DJ Ray Arruda provided the music and uplighting for my reception. Ray's dad, Junior Ray, performed his live floor show during dinner. Both were very entertaining and willing to go above and beyond to please my husband and me. Ray was easy to work with and extremely reasonably priced compared to other DJs I researched. Because Ray was already DJing the wedding, I believe he was able to offer uplighting at a discounted price (since he had to be there anyway!). Before dinner was even served, Ray had guests out of their seats and on the dance floor! The live show performed by Junior Ray pleased the older guests at the reception, as he sang classic love songs and interacted with the guests. His interation with his audience definitely made our guests feel more engaged and more comfortable getting up to dance!
