David was the DJ for our wedding and he did an absolutely great job! Our guest had a great time and complimented on the variety of music. We had music for 20-30yr and then music for 50yr and old. We had a mix of some modern music, hip hop music, some country songs, and 60- 90's music.
David listened to what we wanted when planning and was very accommodating while working with our schedules.
Our guest also LOVED the photo booth! David let us pick the back drop color/theme and provided props. Multiple guests said it was a nice touch and would love to have had that at their own wedding . All in all, we would definitely recommend using David as your wedding DJ!

David from The Music Xpress DJ was so very easy to work with and to communicate with. He wanted to make sure that the services he was providing was of the best quality and to the best of our party's needs. The photobooth was so fun, especially all the fun features. Would recommend David to anyone!

Out of all the wedding planning, particularly during the 2020 chaos, working with Music Xpress DJ was easily the highlight. We met with him twice over the phone and it helped organize our entire wedding / reception (especially thanks to his spreadsheet!). His wife was so sweet and helped coordinate during the ceremony (telling us when to walk, etc.). David was organized and kind. We couldn't have had our wedding without him. We gave a general list of music we liked and he catered our wedding, and made it the environment we were hoping for. You know you have a wonderful DJ when you have people dancing the entire time. Seriously, our dance floor was never empty.
We went to two other weddings in the last two months..one where there was a live band and the other was a person clicking through on an iPhone Spotify playlist. The live band was limited to the music selection and not many people danced. And with the simple iPhone, the result was a wedding full of chaos and stress that the entire guest list felt. And again, not many people danced.
If you are on the fence with having a DJ, do it. Do it and book the Music Xpress DJ. It's worth every single penny and more.

DJ Dave was excellent. Such great attention to detail. Great communication. He made our day perfect. He knew the timing of everything and our day flowed perfectly.

We had some issues with our original DJ last minute, and DJ David was so willing to help us out and planned everything with us with only a week left before our wedding. He was super flexible and communicated with us constantly leading up to the day. He had everything we needed the day of to make everything go super smoothly. Definitely would recommend him!!

We are so lucky that David was the DJ and MC for our recent wedding in Woodland, California! He did a truly amazing job-- he made sure to keep us on track with our timeline, helped to facilitate the ceremony and toasts, and did a wonderful job getting people onto the dance floor despite record-setting heat! We had some fairly specific playlist and music-related requests, and David did a great job of executing our vision while also adding some of his own flair. For the second to last song of the night he also did a great job getting folks back out onto the dance floor for one last jam, which really made us (the couple) feel special. We truly have him to thank for making our day so fun and stress-free.
