The Space: The Muses is a non-denominational event space located within the complex of the Greek Orthodox Church of Southampton.
Capacities: With a capacity of over 300 people indoors and 500 outdoors, we can accomodate a variety of seating configurations.
Food and Beverage: Civetta Hospitality (Amali, Juniper and Calissa in Water Mill) oversees food, beverage and for the Muses. Our award winning culinary and beverage team executes with restaurant level professionalism and care.
Pricing: A food and beverage minimum and venue management fee is applied to every event and fluctuates based on the date and time of your event. Tables, chairs, linens, glassware, flatware, and china are included as part of the food and beverage minimum/venue management fee.
A/V Capabilities: The room is equipped with a 15-foot dropdown screen with built in projector and surround sound speakers.

Dream Wedding Venue in Southampton
Our wedding at The Muses was an absolute dream, from start to finish. The planning process was relatively easy; we enjoyed a delicious meal at the affiliated property, Calissa, and decided that the Muses was The One. The space is airy and bright with high ceilings and lots of light, exactly what we envisioned. I do recommend having a planner or coordinator because there are just so many details that you don't want to deal with on your wedding day - florals, musicians, place cards, etc. The day itself was totally seamless and the food was the real highlight of the night. My husband is really into wine and Kylie assisted with picking the perfect wines to pair with dinner. Having all of our friends and family come together in one beautiful space was such a joy. Thank you, Muses!

Our Dream Wedding
After having to re-schedule our wedding date twice due to COVID, we were relieved to find the perfect space close enough to NYC to allow all of our friends and family to attend.
In addition to assisting us with selecting the perfect menu for our group (some are gluten free or dairy free which was easily accommodated) - live music was an important part of the day for us (e had a DJ plus a band and a few performances by guests).
The evening started with our outdoor ceremony and a gorgeous cocktail hour featuring a couple of tequila specialty cocktails. Everyone then went into the main dining room for dinner, dancing and dessert. The night concluded with an outdoor fire pit and some greasy snacks. It was exactly what we envisioned!

Gorgeous Farewell Brunch
We hosted our farewell wedding brunch at The Muses. In addition to a bountiful buffet (we also opted to add a Chef station for waffles and omelettes) we also had a Bloody Mary bar with a lot of fun ingredients. It was the perfect fun yet elegant way to say goodbye to all of our friends and family.

Our wedding at The Muses was everything and more than what we expected! Our day went perfectly smooth and our guests could not stop complimenting the beauty of the space. Paul was helpful and available from the moment we booked to days after the wedding when closing up last minute details.
