we had hosted a reception for our son on 10.10.21 and it was excellent experience on all fronts. The food was very delicious, staff was very co-operative and Hall and bathrooms were dot clean. No complains on any front. BEST VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY

My experience with the staff and owner of the hall began in early 2020 when I was shopping around LI for a great wedding package. Obsession checked all of the boxes, but what sealed the deal was the owner Mr.Khalid who was incredibly warm and easy to work with. Comparing the cost to a handful of other venues in the area, I was pleasantly surprised at everything (food, stage, DJ, lighting, and more) that was included in our package. Trust me when I tell you that as someone who was not willing to settle for the outrageous costs other venues, this was the best case scenario as a couple on a tight budget.

With COVID hitting the wedding industry (and every part of our lives as we knew it), we had no choice but to move our wedding a total of three times before we could finally have our big day a few weeks ago (yay!). Mr.Khalid and his staff were supportive, flexible, and worked with us to move the date as necessary and always made themselves available. There was no question or request too small for Mr.Khalid or Sam, one of the hall managers. Having seen friends and family members deal with inflexible (deposits, changing dates, etc.) hall owners during COVID for their own events, I knew we'd made the right choice.

Fast forward to our event (finally!)- everything was FANTASTIC and we are still in awe of how smoothly everything ran. Holding an event during COVID was nerve wrecking no matter how you look at it. But we had full reassurance and felt safe holding our wedding at Obsessions knowing that they disinfect the hall regularly. They followed state and city guidelines, checked temperatures at the front door, and even gave us the large hall for our small group to accommodate social distancing.

Our guests are still raving about the food, stage, and staff members. My husband and I had an intercultural wedding (Pakistani and Italian) and we were impressed by the Obsession team's ability to pull off a delicious buffet that covered everyone's tastes. That is not easy to do!! Our stage and the hall were gorgeous and exactly as we had envisioned it, both beautiful and elegant.

The day could not have gone as wonderfully as it did without the help of Mr Khalid, Brian and his team. They went above and beyond to make sure that we, our families, and guests were taken care of. I had several guests who have gluten allergies and the hall accommodated them with a separate but delicious meal. Brian and his team were warm, personable, and made themselves available to us every moment of the event. We could not have asked for a better set of people to work with on our big day.

A special shout out once again to Mr.Khalid and his entire staff for a beautiful day, THANK YOU!!!! Weddings are no small feat and with the amount of stress a couple goes through planning every detail, you want to work with a team that is supportive and with you every step of the way. Go with Obsession Banquet Hall for your weddings and parties, there is no doubt that you will have just as wonderful an experience as we did.

Had my best friend's wedding in September. Staff was amazing, smile on faces and extremely helpful. Food was delicious and floor Manager was very cooperative. Extremely clean environment and best place to have a party. I highly recommend this place.

Unprofessional, DJ HORRIBLE, AC didn’t work. No assistance. Family business with kids working. Wish I would of did better research. I came in and did all the decorating.

Up from Florida to plan my wedding and spoke to K the owner who thought he was accommodating but wasn’t! He didn’t listen to a thing I said and dismissed what I was saying and only wanted me to agree with what he felt was to happen for my big day.
They make false promises and are unable to keep up their end of the bargain. Do not go off of their word! Put everything in writing!I booked as I was told to put by employees which was to book at a low number (because I had no idea of my guest amount) and once I received my final number, I was to let the hall know so I can be booked in the bigger room! I was also told that there wouldn’t be another event going on at the same time as my wedding. But no the owner booked a sweet sixteen at the same time as my ceremony (which is to be a quiet event). The owner wanted me to settle with whatever you able to give me! He disregarded my whole vision and all I’ve asked. Trust me take your wedding and money somewhere else!
