Great Venue with Excellent Staff!
We hosted our wedding, cocktail hour, and guests at The Maven for an incredible weekend. All of our guests raved about the hotel and uniqueness of the setting. The staff were incredibly helpful and tailored to our needs. The event staff were incredibly professional and went above and beyond to make our day incredibly special. The food was AMAZING, and not your typical "hotel" wedding food. The entire weekend was a dream, and it couldn't have happened without The Maven's awesome team.Sent on 03/24/2019

Worked with Kristi the venue planner and Jill the catering manager, both were on top of their game and couldn't have been more helpful! We had a 100 guest for a sit down dinner and there was plenty of room for a Dj and dance floor. Cocktail tables were set up outside in the dairy block which is a really hip artsy space. The Our guest continually commented on the outstanding food from the bacon wrapped scallop hors d'oeuvres to the roasted vegetables and delicious prime rib, as a matter of fact everyone said "this is the best wedding food we have ever had". If it's not on the menu, Dennis the head chef will gladly accommodate. We had about 17 hotel rooms booked for the weekend and were very pleased with the accommodations. We were honestly thrilled with the entire experience!Sent on 02/14/2018

My now husband and I had our February wedding at The Maven. Many of our guests were from out of town, and decided to stay at the hotel with us over the weekend. The eclectic local art throughout the hotel, the vintage inspired bar Poka Lola, the awesome airstream in the lobby, and so much more make this hotel so special-- all of our guests were very pleased, and many stated they stay here in the future! The reception space was also great! The perfect mix of modern and vintage, I especially loved the exposed brick and the patio doors to Dairy Block. One thing I would note is that we had a hand full of issues when it came to our guests and our room block contract. Many guests stated the front desk employees were unaware of the room block or the block was full, and that I would need to reserve the room for them-- which unfortunately I had to do for 4 seperate couples. During the reception the food was excellent/beautiful presentation! One thing I wish I would have known is that they placed a tip jar at the open bar despite there being an included required gratuity. Other then that, I would highly recommend this hotel and reception space for your next event!!!Sent on 02/20/2018
