Our NYE wedding at the Maven was everything I imagined and then some. The hotel staff, starting from the valet to the front desk to our service sales manager was outstanding! Beyond friendly, helpful, and literally excited for US on our big day. Our ceremony took place in "The Alley" and thanks to Mother Nature, the weather could not have been more perfect to match the incredible venue. As the bride, I never once heard a peep from any of our vendors or the hotel on any issues that were encountered, so I assume there weren't any! I went to the hotel a week later and had a wave of emotions flush over me as I walked into the foyer, then I ran into our primary contact Jazzmary and we gave each other the biggest hug - she is now my friend! Not many hotels can offer such a unique landscape, superior service and friends all at once. Highly recommend 10/10 all the stars! -

Wedding Ceremony and Reception
We had our ceremony and reception at The Maven and it was everything we could have hoped for. All of the staff we worked with were attentive and responsive. It felt like they really cared about what we wanted our day to be (which not all venues do!). The food and drinks were delicious and paying for the alley buy out for our ceremony was worth every penny! We were even allowed to go over to their sister hotel The Rally Hotel to do rooftop couples photos. I cannot recommend enough having your event at The Maven -

Amazing Venue and Staff
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Maven. The staff was great to work with and very responsive throughout the whole process. The hotel itself is beautiful and quirky, which made our wedding photos great. Also, the connection to the Denver Milk Market made the location convenient and fun for our guests staying in the hotel. Overall, the venue and staff helped to make our perfect day come true. -

Intimate COVID Zoom wedding success!
The Maven Hotel graciously allowed us to use their beautiful venue space and facilities free of charge as part of their #Loveisnotcanceled campaign. Their wedding coordinator, Blair, was incredibly helpful and easy to work with and made sure our ceremony went smoothly and helped us set up the room to our liking. The Maven hotel and the Dairy Block made for an incredible backdrop for our pictures and our stay at The Maven hotel was fun, chic and memorable! We are so incredibly grateful to The Maven hotel and staff and would highly recommend it as a wedding venue during pandemic times or otherwise! -

My husband and I absolutely LOVED our wedding weekend at The Maven! With a majority of our guest list coming from out of town, we wanted to introduce our friends and family to the city we love, and having our home base at The Maven was a HUGE hit. Our guests loved being able to explore the Dairy Block and it ended up being built-in entertainment for the weekend (and everyone loved the rooms - our suite was top notch!!). When it came to our ceremony and reception, The Maven made the whole process seamless and beautiful. The staff was communicative throughout the planning process, and made what could’ve been a stressful experience really fun. Oh, and the food was GREAT! We got so many compliments!! I can’t forget to mention cocktail hour… Having it at Polka Lola was AWESOME and we literally didn’t have to add anything to the space - it’s perfect and fun as-is. Having it right across the hall from our ceremony/reception made it easy for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day and I can’t recommend having your wedding at The Maven/Polka Lola enough! -

Highly recommend The Maven for any occasion. This property is stunning and offers every single amenity; most importantly, the staff is: professionalism, hands-on, dedication, and deliver exceptional service. If you are looking to stay at The Maven, have the confidence that this hotel is unmatched and you will be blown away with their staff.
On a personal note, I and my husband appreciated a very special staff member named Adok. Adok was: organized, flexible, and checked in on us several times to ensure complete success of our stay. Adok was fundamental in delivering an exceptional experience at the hotel. We will return again and again as long as they have exceptional staff like her.
Thank you Adok and all the wonderful staff at The Maven for making out stay EXCEPTIONAL!

We had an amazing experience working with The Maven to plan our dream downtown Denver wedding! the space was so versatile, perfect for both the ceremony and the reception, and the cocktail bar at the hotel is a PHENOMENAL cocktail hour location! Our guests couldn't say enough about how wonderful the food and drinks were, and the Dairy Block itself is so cute and convenient, filled with plenty of shops & restaurants for our out of town guests. I also want to specifically shout out Jaz from The Maven, who helped coordinate and execute our event, and say that she is nothing short of fantastic. She was so responsive, organized, detail-oriented, and kind throughout the whole process of planning. The day went off without a hitch, and I'll always remember it as the perfect day. We loved our special day at The Maven! -

Wow, where do I get started! My wife and I used the Maven as the home base for our 2018 memorial day weekend wedding. We booked a large block of rooms and had our rehearsal dinner there. There were many lowlights throughout the weekend, but the worst one was on our wedding night and is one I will never forget. My wife and her bridesmaids spent the night prior in a suite. On the day of the wedding, they got their hair done in their suite and spent the day there. After getting married, my wife and I returned to the room only to discover that they had not cleaned or serviced the room like they had assured us!! My wife was sobbing as we went downstairs and waited for them to clean it as best they could given the late hour. It ruined the end of our special day. Along with the countless issues our guests had booking rooms in our block, our experience at the Maven was a tremendous let down. While everything looks great on the surface, it is clear the hotel does not have the details sorted out.
