I hosted my rehearsal dinner here, and it was amazing. The rates are wonderful, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It was a perfect size for our group of 80, and it is a great location if you want to DIY and save some money. Alpharetta PD gives you a free liquor pour permit if you have your party here, and so that is really helpful for BYOB events. I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

The Mansell House allowed us to have a wedding that suited us perfectly. We did not want the coookie cutter wedding that so many wedding venue locations force you into. The price, which only pays for the venue, was truly unbeatable. This let us plan a beautiful wedding that we could actually afford. We couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

I have one little tip. Make sure you are fully aware which tables belong to the Mansell House and which belong to your rental company. We had not made sure to specify as we were setting up and had some confusion as we were taking things down and putting them away as many tables were not clearly marked.

We chose the Mansell House for our reception site. It has a beautiful house and gardens. The inside of the house has new carpeting, new paint and several new tables and 72 new chairs to use for the reception. We had a tent on the outside and the event was wonderful. The staff was very professional and very accomodating. We were able to use all of our own vendors and did not have to choose from their list. The price included the site from 10am until midnight and was very reasonable! This was the perfect venue for us.

My reception location was absolutely amazing.My friends and family loved this place.It was romantic with the house being light up with a stream of white lights.I COULD NOT IMAGINE MY WEDDING ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!

The Mansell House & Gardens is a beautiful historical location to hold a wedding. We chose to use the garden for an outdoor wedding and the house and gardens for the reception. The designated Mansell House rep, Dorothy, was wonderful on the day of our Wedding. She was very helpful. However, prior to weddings it's difficult to get in contact with the reps as the house is only open certain days and most of the time I found I got an answering machine. Made it difficult to schedule deliveries on day of or day before wedding. They do contact you back, I think it's just seems more stressful waiting once the clock is ticking towards the big day.

The cost of this facility is so reasonable anytime of year, suitable for all budgets. The fee only includes the rental of the house and/or garadens and a few chairs and tables. We rented our own tables and chairs. Responsbile for catering, decorations, and everything else. But in the long run, it was more cost efficient.

It was a beautiful day, a beautiful wedding, and a great location with such a beautiful historical location!!! I'd do it all over again at the Mansell House!!!

Cathy is very helpful, and everyone commented on how perfect the house was. We needed a place that allowed us to use our own caterer, and this was perfect. I highly recommend it for the wedding and the reception.

It was beauitful for a medium size wedding and very affordable! They provide good service. You are responsible for leaving it clean and having everything back in place. I would say I was overall pleased!!!
