My now-husband and I got to work with them for our engagement pictures and wedding. During our introductory call, Christina and Will took great care to understand our wants and even anticipated some of our concerns. Ours being an interracial relationship, Will walked us through his process of ensuring that my husband and I would be captured authentically. I appreciated how much care he took in easing our worries.

I hope you look through their portfolio. You may find yourself smiling and crying with complete strangers! Sure, those people are genuinely feeling those emotions. But Will and Christina also know the perfect prompts and suggestions to ensure those feelings are perfectly captured in photos. They make it so easy to be in front of the camera.

Christina and Will were so easy to work with because they are the LOVELIEST photographers we have ever met. They are so fun, easy going, and go with the flow. They matched our energy and our guest energy so well. We were so grateful for them to be a part of our day. They were so flexible and real which we appreciate so much. They were like silent ninjas when it came to taking documentary style photos throughout the reception. They made taking our portraits fun and quick and painless. Christina and Will are awesome! We had such a fun time doing our engagements with them. They were super helpful in telling us where to stand and if we needed to adjust since we weren't really used to getting photos together. They are so welcoming and friendly. I absolutely love the quality of their photos and how they tell a story. We ended up not going with a videographer and putting all of that part of our budget into the photos and they did not disappoint. While we were doing our ceremony photos with family, my daughter didn't want to smile at anyone. It wasn't until Christina burst into the Bluey theme song and did all sorts of dancing to get her to smile and it so worked! Christina was there for our final walkthrough before the wedding to scope out good spots and be there with our planner. Above and beyond I must say, from before and prepping during and after. I couldn't recommend a better husband and wife photography team. They were able to get all sorts of shots that were more creative than what I have seen from other wedding photographers.

Where do we even begin... As my now wife and I began searching through the vast amount of wedding photographers available, we talked about how we wanted someone to capture our story perfectly. As we are an LGTBQ+ couple, we had to take true caution of who we decided to let into our special day. We came across this couple calling themselves "One Love Photography" (now The MacMeekens). Their website at the time said that they were obsessed with Harry Potter, I immediately knew they were the photographers for us. We set up a zoom meeting and had an incredible conversation with Will and Christina. What stood out most to me during that zoom is that Will and Christina genuinely care about who you are. You and your partner will not be just another client for them, they certainly become friends. Next, during our engagement session, just another example of how they care for you as people, they treated us to dinner in between a sunset and nighttime session simply to get to know us better. During the time between our engagement session and wedding day, Christina and Will checked in on us consistently, making sure we had all we wanted and needed, including things outside of the photography realm. When wedding day finally arrived, Will and Christina were incredible. They captured all the most special and most perfect moments of our day. They included some photos we didn't know we wanted (needed, better yet) and all the photos we wanted. Not only are Christina and Will incredible, the photos they captured of our special day are absolutely stunning. I can't help but to smile in absolute awe of the beauty and love they captured in these photos.

I cannot say enough about this small business. The MacMeekens are so much more than wedding photographers. They are artists, documentary specialists, story tellers, Harry Potter enthusiasts, friends.. I could go on forever. I would 1000% recommend The MacMeekens to any and all couples looking for incredible wedding photographers.

Christina and Will are the true definition of the dream team! My husband and I had never had true professional photos taken before we started this process. We were nervous going into it. Christina & Will both make it so easy to just relax and have fun during each photo session and it shows in the photos you receive back! They are easy to communicate with and truly want to make you happy. Simply put, Christina and Will are MAGICAL human beings. They are funny, goofy, serious when needed, the best hype people, talented beyond words, your shoulder when you need it, etc. etc. etc. I could go on for hours.
We hired them as vendors and a year and a half later left as friends. If you are looking for wedding photographers or are on the fence… this is your team. You will not regret it.

I was in the process of vetting out photographers for my wedding when I was lucky enough to win an engagement shoot with One Love Photography during my venue's open house. I wasn't originally going to have an engagement session as it didn't really seem to be in the budget, but I figured, why not? Best. Decision. Ever. Christina and Will are honestly the best team to work with! Since their editing style is so true to color, it's like getting to relive the moment, exactly how it happened and how it looked, every time I look at my photos. They have great "prompts" that make for some adorable, tear jerking pictures. They aren't afraid to take risks with different lighting, posing, or angles, which makes for some fantastic and wall-worthy portraits. After working with Will and Christina, you feel like you've made life long friends. They are so good about communication about your big day and the days leading up to it, (Christina even weighed in on engagement shoot outfits!), their turn around time for pictures was incredibly reasonable, and it was an all around pleasure and honor to have them capture our wedding. I will definitely be reaching out to One Love for any future moments we need captured and will recommend them to anyone seeking a photographer!
