I cannot imagine our wedding day or the entire planning process without them. In summary, they are consummate professionals who are excellent at what they do, but they do it with such love and care it is truly a pleasure to get to know and spend time with them. But there is so much to say!!

First off, they have amazing experience and know what to watch out for, what vendors are worth it, how to prioritize your budget and so many other things we would have had no clue about. We never worried during the planning process because we knew Alexis and Kayla would help us through any decision. They have killer instincts as well, and just know what works and what doesn't. Every vendor they recommended was 10/10 and we trusted them so much whenever we were unsure, we'd default to what they thought - we even used the band Alexis used at her own wedding!

Next, they have incredible style. I had a vague sense of what I wanted my wedding to look and feel like, but Alexis and Kayla truly brought it to life in a way that was so far beyond my wildest dreams. They provided us with options that would fit, so we knew we would never be too far off base style -wise. Our wedding would not have been as beautiful or cohesive without them. Design isn't something I originally thought a lot about, but it manifested in setting the mood for our perfect wedding day, and I ended up loving the process and our final look. They engage heavily in the design process while still giving lots of freedom to their couples.

In addition, they had the best attitude and demeanor, both throughout the wedding planning process as well as on the wedding day. Each of our family and friends commented on how lovely of a presence they were on wedding day, which we already knew from the planning process, but it was so nice to hear from truly everyone. They strike the perfect balance of guidance while also being completely open to new ideas and our preferences. Plus they are both so kind and just great people. They care so much about their couples and it comes across in every aspect.

In addition, their execution and project management skills are second to none. They would remember each thing we covered during a meeting and follow up on it. The wedding day itself ran exceptionally smoothly and they were there, carefully ushering each piece into place and ensuring everything was perfect. There were so many little details they took care of without us even noticing at the time (like placing the bars for cocktail hour in a different space to allow for better crowd flow) - this allowed us to be so present on our actual wedding day, knowing we were in the best hands!

Finally, we cared a lot about what our wedding would feel like, and that is the language they speak as well. From each stage of selecting vendors, to the design plan, to choosing detail décor to selecting songs, to setting the order of events, they made sure our core values were being upheld and were always in service of that ultimate goal.

I am not sure if I am doing an adequate job of conveying how truly amazing Alexis and Kayla are. They are the best best in the business. I almost don't want to tell anyone how amazing they are so I can refer them to my own friends and family, but of course I won't because they deserve all the success and praise in the world!! There were so many time when my (now) husband and I would turn to look at each other throughout the wedding planning process and said "thank God for Alexis and Kayla."

I cannot say enough amazing things about these two and the only thing I will miss about wedding planning is the chance to hang out and collaborate with Alexis and Kayla. Even writing this is making me miss them!

I literally couldn't say enough about how awesome The Little Things team were for our recent wedding. Kayla was absolutely incredible to work with. We have them do day of coordination as well as our event design. TLT was able to take what our general and vague ideas were and articulate them in a tangible way for it to become a reality. Kayla was really able to take key aspects of our personalities and relationship and translate them perfect with amazing touches like our pet on napkins and cufflinks to an amazing tablescape multiple guests have asked me for pictures of so they can try and recreate for their homes. Couldn't have been any more put together and organized, Kayla really kept us on-track and thought through everything we never considered. The on-site team day-of was awesome and well-prepared. I'll reccomend Kayla and TLT to anyone that needs assistance in wedding planning/day of coordination in heartbeat!

Alexis & Kayla were by far the most important and most valuable decision we made for our wedding. After following TLT on IG for some time, I knew I liked their high-end, laidback vibe, and from our first conversation we were bowled over by how those traits translated to the people behind the scenes. From early days with thoughtful questionnaires into every aspect of our identity, Alexis and Kayla began the journey of getting to know us better than we knew ourselves, and helped us establish a mood, a design aesthetic, and a way of working together that made the year of planning our wedding a true joy.

Alexis and her team flawlessly brought our "vision" to life - we came to our first meeting with a vague sense of colors and things we liked or didn't like, and she was able to put together a beautiful, unique, special, and memorable event. Throughout the wedding planning process there are a lot of opinions to juggle and people to please. I have to say that without a doubt the best thing I did for myself in this crazy process (besides marrying my husband) was to hire Alexis as our month of planner. So much more than a month and day-of resource, Alexis was a trusted partner, sounding board, advisor, and friend from day one. From our first meeting her positivity, easygoing confidence, and humor made me feel so at ease and reassured. An extremely detail oriented bride with a very specific vision with a lot of moving pieces and long vendor list, I was looking for someone to trust with executing my wedding vision flawlessly. Alexis and her team did that and so much more. Her expertise helped us make informed vendor and timeline decisions and handle delicate family situations, and she took all of the vendor coordination and stress off my mind in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Alexis let me be as involved as I wanted to in vendor communication, and flexed impressively to accommodate my husband’s laid back style and my A-type personality. She was extremely communicative and thorough in documenting and attending to all details leading up to the big day, and was even more valuable on the day of.

When a vehicle breakdown and weather changes impacted our plans, she masterfully rearranged our timeline and made sure that the day continued to flow smoothly and positively. Alexis was amazing to work with..... she served as our day of coordinator and made our wedding day perfect. From the get go, I knew she was the person for the job.... she went out of her way to schedule an in person meeting so that we both had a chance to see if we'd work well together going forward. Once she was on board, she would answer all my email questions promptly and had great ideas to help further my vision. She provided me with an amazingly useful spreadsheet that kept me organized throughout the planning process. At every meeting she was happy, friendly and knowledgeable. She helped me hold my own against a somewhat rigid catering vendor and helped me make final decisions on the lighting and decor for the venue. On the actual day, she was an amazingly calming presence. I always knew she was there for me, but she never made herself obtrusive during the wedding. She kept things on track and made sure i didn't have to worry about anything. I was able to enjoy the entire day with my groom and family and friends. And she did all this at a very reasonable and highly competitive price point. I really can't recommend her enough. If you hire her... you won't be sorry.

Alexis is a true rock star. As a wedding industry professional, I can honestly say Alexis is the best. She coordinated my wedding and I've worked with her on many other weddings. She is hyper-organized, and assertive, which are two very important qualities to look for in a wedding planner. But one thing that truly separates Alexis from the rest is her overall positive and calming attitude. She can gracefully handle any situation that might arise, and rest assured any bump will be smoothed over and become a beautiful part of your wedding journey. My wife and I worked with Alexis of The Little Things for our wedding and were very pleased. Alexis displayed an incredible amount of professionalism and organization throughout the planning process.
