Geoff and the team were great!!! We hired them at the last minute for our wedding and they pulled it all together so quickly. They were professional, punctual, and added to the special day. I can't wait to see what beautiful film they create!!!

I HIGHLY recommend Geoff & The Light Mill for videography services for your wedding. I initially was connected with Geoff because my best friend used The Light Mill for her wedding a few years ago. The video from her wedding was unbelievable and still brings tears to my eyes! I was so impressed by how Geoff’s team captured every detail of the wedding. I barely noticed them filming and I was in the wedding! I could tell that they do a great job maintaining the “fly on the wall” status - they don’t intrude at all during the big day but simultaneously capture every moment. Therefore, I knew my fiancé and I needed to hire The Light Mill for our August 2020 wedding. As the pandemic hit, we postponed our wedding to May 2021 and ultimately, due to family health considerations, decided to cancel the large celebration all together. Geoff was understanding and empathetic during this time which we greatly appreciated considering that as much as this was a difficult time for brides and grooms, we knew it was also an extremely difficult time for vendors. The compassion he shared was uplifting. Wedding season during a pandemic was new territory for him but with his prompt communication and calmness you’d never know it. Though we did not get to see our big day through as planned, I would highly recommend Geoff and his team to shoot your wedding not only because I know the quality of work they produce, but also based on how great of people they are. You of course want an amazing video to remember your day, but having a positive and enjoyable relationship with the vendor is almost equally as important and with Geoff and The Light Mill you get both. Kate and Geoff were like ghosts! After they came in and introduced themselves we really barely saw them - in the best way! They were certainly there, capturing every moment and gathering footage, but they were very non-intrusive, and used equipment and lighting that was not distracting to us or our guests. They are very attentive and responsive, and worked with us to create a custom package that encompassed everything we were looking for in our wedding video!

Working with Geoff was a breeze! He gave us exactly what we were looking for in a videographer - he captured every special moment, but we barely noticed he was there. (And that says a lot because Geoff is very, very tall!) His presence and camera set up didn’t interfere at all with any aspect of the ceremony or the party, and he didn’t miss a beat. He caught so many unannounced candid moments - band members playing instruments on the dance floor, friends squeezing too many people into the photo booth, etc. Geoff was polite and professional. We would definitely recommend!

Light Mill is AMAZING!!! Geoff was so easy to work with and and did such a fantastic job on our full video, but more importantly, the short one. I had several close friends and family members who couldn't attend the wedding due to new babies, and it was so wonderful to be able to share the highlights of our day with them. Everyone who viewed the video said it was the best they had ever seen and felt Geoff really captured "us." I can't say enough wonderful things about Light Mill, truly the best to work with.

The Light Mill was fantastic! All of our friends and family members who watched our 9-minute “highlights film” said it was the best one they had ever seen. I cry every time I watch it. Geoff and Kate totally captured all the details of the day and put them into our short film… everything from joyful hugs to shots of guest chatting from afar to awesome dance moves to our flower girl doing the cutest things to meaningful tidbits from our vows and from our friends’ and families’ speeches. The cameras must have been everywhere but we never even noticed. Geoff and Kate are such kind and compassionate people and were fabulous to work with. It did take nine months to get our short film and about eleven months to get the full DVDs, but it was worth the wait. We’ll treasure them forever.
