We had the most incredible experience at The Laurel Room at High Vista for our wedding. From the moment we first visited, we were captivated by the breathtaking views and the elegance of the venue. It truly set the perfect stage for our special day.

The food and service were outstanding, exceeding all of our expectations. Every detail was carefully attended to, and the staff made sure everything was seamless, allowing us to relax and enjoy our celebration without worry.

A special thank you to Liz, the general manager and event coordinator, who was an absolute joy to work with. She patiently answered all of my numerous questions and was so accommodating when we had to adjust our plans due to weather. Her support and flexibility meant the world to us and helped everything go off without a hitch. Liz truly went above and beyond, ensuring our day was as perfect as we had imagined.

One of the best parts about The Laurel Room at High Vista is that they provide so much in-house: catering, bar service, tables, chairs, linens, and much more. This was a game-changer for us because, even though I planned everything myself without a wedding planner, it took a lot of the guesswork out of the planning process. It allowed us to focus on the meaningful aspects of the day, knowing that the venue was handling all the essential logistics.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more wonderful team to help us bring our vision to life. The Laurel Room at High Vista will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding day. It was absolutely perfect! I cannot hype up the Laurel Room at High Vista enough. It is such a beautiful venue with incredible views and a team dedicated to making sure that your day runs perfectly.
Liz, the GM and event coordinator, was so incredibly helpful throughout the whole planning process. She would always promptly answer my emails, answering every single question that I asked with detail. She was also easily available by phone. During the weeks prior to the wedding and the day of, she was in touch with all of the vendors and made sure that everything ran smoothly day-of. She was incredibly willing to work with every single accommodation that we requested, including private dining for the groom and I and even ordered a whiskey that my husband loves that they don't normally have. Liz and all of the staff were so professional and kind.
The venue itself - the views are incredible, and there is so much flexibility for guests to roam between the reception space, the decks, and the firepit below. The bridal suite was big, could maybe use a little updating, but was perfect for what we needed it for. The reception area is gorgeous with all the windows to the mountain views and easily fit our party of 55. While we were lucky enough that it didn't rain, there is a canopy set up over the guest seating area, and Liz and I discussed several rain plan options, which helped ease any stress regarding weather.
The food - delicious! We had a private tasting shortly after booking, and Liz and Chef Peter were great in helping us find the right meals. We loved the shrimp and grits appetizer so much that we wanted to offer it as a meal option, which they were willing to do. We also offered a steak option, and everyone raved about the food.
The value that we got for the price we paid was more than I could have ever imagined. I have no regrets booking with the Laurel Room at High Vista and would recommend it to anyone looking for a venue with great views, delicious food, and excellent service.

The Laurel Room is an adorable space for a wedding - the mountain lodge-style room has a beautiful stacked stone fireplace behind the dance floor, and amazing views of the mountains around Asheville in every direction. Our 70-person party fit comfortably into the space, and we loved that it was a one-stop shop - they provide catering, bartending, and rentals so it was SO easy to plan. Working with Liz to plan our reception was awesome – we really appreciated that she encouraged us in our taco bar dinner dreams, and also gracefully handled a behind-the-scenes timeline change. So grateful for Liz and the amazing staff at The Laurel Room!

High Vista was very flexible and accommodating. My daughter was to be married in September 2020, but because of the pandemic we rescheduled for May 2021.
Wide variety of tasty hors d’oeuvres, reception meals and full liquor bar available of which we made available to our guests.
Ivory Road was the caterer and also made the wedding cake and delicious cupcakes!
You won’t be disappointed!

I can't say enough good things about this place! Jennifer was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect on our special day. She did things for us that were not even her duty just to help us out. The venue is just plain GORGEOUS and you don't even need much decoration because the views are enough! We danced the night away and everything was perfect!!! I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding venue!

My husband and I had to cancel our wedding in New Jersey and plan a small ceremony in North Carolina in three months due to a family emergency. Jessie at High Vista was the most understanding, flexible, and available individual I have ever worked with at a venue. She made our last minute event flow beautifully, without a single thing lacking. She dealt with my emails as I tried to figure everything out, and made everything that much easier. The venue, itself, GORGEOUS!!! Even if we weren't in a bind, we would consider the Laurel Room after seeing it because of how positively stunning it is. But, honestly, Jessie is the best--when planning a wedding, the people you work with are the most important. You can find a beautiful place anywhere (and the Laurel Room is truly beautiful), but someone as helpful as Jessie in addition to an amazing venue? Hard to come by. It was all absolutely perfect, and she truly made it so.

I would like to sincerely thank High Vista, Frankie Bones restaurant staff and event coordinator, Rachel Hogard for making our day so incredible. Your attention to detail, flexibility, outstanding service and the quality of food, were more than we could have ever hoped for. High Vista not only provided the highest in quality of service, but they also provided an incredible scenic setting which made the day even more magical. The setting of High Vista Golf and Country Club provides a mountain view backdrop for any wedding that few places in Asheville can provide. Our pictures certainly reflect that. After months of research for the perfect location, I am proud to say that High Vista Golf and Country Club delivered to the fullest of our expectations!
