When we visited The Lane, we knew this was the venue we wanted to get married at! The location and views are unbeatable, and the space can really be tailored to what you want.

The Lane is such a beautiful venue! I highly recommend booking it for your wedding day. It is one of the only downtown venues with outdoor space and the lighting is incredible for photos. The table and chairs they provide are so stunning. 10/10

The Lane feels extra unique! The views from this place out onto the harbor are stunning, and feels like you're in a cool loft space in New York. It's nice and bright while still having a bit of an industrial aesthetic that can be glammed up or boho'd out. Feels like a great mash up of SoCal coastal with the downtown edge. Plus the Lane team is always so sweet and helpful!

After searching for a wedding venue and finding limited space and availability, our wedding planner told us about The Lane. I had no idea what to expect but as soon as we walked in we knew it was the spot, as we could see Broadway Pier where we got engaged. And the space itself was a perfect canvas for any vision. Not to mention, there was no travel time needed. Ceremony on the balcony/patio with beautiful views as a backdrop, the cocktail area positioned right where people would exit, and the reception space to keep the party going. Couldn’t have asked for more! The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Made choosing this venue for our wedding an easy decision.

This venue was perfect! We had the ceremony and reception here, which was spacious for our 120 guests. Eva was wonderful and made the process easy! The location and sunset made our wedding incredible and intimate.

Had our wedding here in June and it was the perfect spot! City and ocean views with a space that you can tailor to make it exactly how you want. After touring other spots in SD it was a no brainer that the Lane was the Perfect spot. Eva, Dayna, Ali and the rest of the events team were on top of it and made the planning process great and went above and beyond to make our day perfect!

Got married here, October 2024! It was awesome, the team was super professional and responsive, which made planning really easy. The venue had everything we wanted- modern, industrial, walking distance to everything in downtown, a hotel above it which made travel easy for our guests, and outdoor space for the ceremony and a separate indoor space for the reception so we could go past 10 PM. We absolutely loved working with the team at the Lane, and the venue is incredible. Our vision was to have a modern, glam downtown wedding and our venue was exactly that.

We especially loved how customizable the venue is and were able to consider several different layout options. Their required and recommended vendor list is top-notch and makes it easy to make decisions.

There are unlimited options for taking photos, but the skyline backdrop was so unique and stunning. It was also great to have several hotel options within walking distance.

I had my wedding at The Lane in September 2024, and it was beyond magical. I worked with Dayna and Eva to help with coordinating my vendors with the venue and accommodating my guest count, as well as the logistics of my ceremony + reception, and everything went off so smoothly. The view from the terrace was absolutely amazing, and the sunset was to die for. Would absolutely recommend doing an event at the lane for a very contemporary, classy feel that allows you to insert your vision onto a blank canvas!

After touring several venues, we ended up choosing the very first one we saw—The Lane—and it was absolutely the right call. The venue gave our wedding the exact look and feel we had hoped for: modern, clean, coastal, and elevated without ever feeling formal or stuffy.

From the start, we were drawn to The Lane’s gorgeous indoor/outdoor layout, its location close to the airport (super convenient for guests!), extended rental hours (12p–12a), and the fact that tables and chairs were included in the price—all at a very reasonable rate. Another huge plus: its direct connection to multiple hotels, which made setting up room blocks a breeze and took transportation logistics off our plate entirely. That peace of mind was invaluable.

Our ceremony took place on the balcony overlooking the water, which gave our guests such a quintessential San Diego experience. Cocktail hour followed at the opposite end of the balcony, keeping the ocean views going as the sun began to set. The reception had a beautiful indoor/outdoor experience—some guests danced the night away while others enjoyed chatting on the balcony. Watching the sunset light up the room during dinner was one of the most memorable moments of the night.

With 150 guests, the space felt just right—roomy without feeling too big. The small bridal suite was also a great spot for our wedding party and family to gather before and after the ceremony, and we got some sweet photos in there too.

Every step of the day ran smoothly. All of our vendors had no trouble working with The Lane’s team and layout—it was seamless from start to finish.
