The Jon Bates Band is a NY based destination wedding and event band featuring an amazing group of musicians who have been performing together for the last 25 years throughout the Northeast and across the globe. They have also been the featured entertainment on many Caribbean and Trans Atlantic cruise ship voyages, both as the main act and/or backing up such legendary artists as Bo Diddley, The Temptations, Gatemouth Brown, Richie Havens, Jeffery Osbourne, and others.

The band features phenomenal male and female frontline lead vocalists, guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, saxophone, lush vocal harmonies, and a full horn section when space and budget allow. They have an extensive and diverse repertoire that includes all popular styles and genres from rock, funk, classic and neo-soul, jazz, Top-40, Dance, R&B, swing, country, folk, ballads, love songs, and more. Always working closely with their clients, the band helps create a custom playlist for each individual event that includes most favorite songs special dance requests.
