For our wedding, we got a small cake to cut for ourselves and a variety of bars to share with guests, which were a big hit! Everything from going to the shop to sample the treats, placing the order online, and getting it delivered to the venue went very smoothly. Thank you!!

We got nine cakes for a cake bar; the cakes were fresh and delicious; the cakes were moist and flavorful, and the frosting was cream cheese. We got the Lemon, Red Velvet, and Raspberry Almond Poppyseed. Great price, and everyone enjoyed the cakes. I was happy to enjoy my wedding cakes. We’ll be back for our anniversary.

I MEAN EVER! My wedding cake was AMAZING. Run don’t walk to support this amazing bakery. It was so good, I ordered another one a week later to celebrate my friend’s graduation from Grad School. EVERYONE said it was the best cake they have ever had. And getting to support an LGBTQ+ business just makes it that much better. Thank you for helping make our special day even more special.

We LOVED having Hungry Hero desserts at our wedding!!! Their treats are to die for and it was especially cool to have the coconut rum cupcakes there (since they won on Sugar Rush!). Thank you soooo much, Ryan and Alex!!! 💖

This place is AMAZING. Honestly, best cake ever. We aren’t even really cake people! We did several cake tastings, and this was an absolute no brainer. Not only was it significantly less expensive than the others we tried, but it also blew away the competition in terms of taste. We ended up getting cookies to serve too, which were also delicious. By the next day, there was hardly any cake left, and no cookies left! We now go out of our way to visit the bakery every time we are in Oregon visiting now!

We ordered our wedding cake from The Hungry Hero and loved our experience with them. Their team is so friendly, and all their desserts and cakes are so tasty!

The cake was beautiful and delicious. We got a two tiered cake and we made one tier vanilla cake, and the other spiced cake because we couldn’t decide which flavor we liked better. We also really appreciated that they had options for very simple cakes - and at such reasonable wedding cake prices. And to top it all off, their tasting experience is so fun!

I had such a great experience with Alex and Zane at The Hungry Hero! They were responsive, fun, and friendly. Our wedding cake was simple and delicious - exactly how we wanted it - and when they delivered it, they styled it with the cake flowers we had purchased from our florist. It turned out SO CUTE! I was so happy to see it when I arrived at our reception! We also had a dessert table, and people were fighting over the bars! The gooey butter bars and the Debbie bars are 100% worth fighting for. They were SO good!!! It's probably a good thing I don't live super close to the bakery, because I would be dropping in for their bars all the time. I highly recommend them not only as a wedding vendor, but also as a great everyday bakery. I can't wait to go back for some goodies!

The Hungry Hero created our wedding cake and dessert bar. The desserts were so delicious and our guests raved about the wide range of delicious cupcake flavors. The pie on a stick was a crowd favorite. Beyond the incredible desserts is Zane, who helped pull everything together with such little time. He was so kind and accommodating and great to work with. I highly recommend The Hungry Hero!

We had Hungry Heros cater our dessert for our wedding back in September of 2017. We decided to use them because we wanted to pick something non traditional of just cake and something that we both enjoyed and we knew would be a hit with our guests. I want to give them a big shoutout for being so awesome from the taste testing, to quotes (I went back and fourth with item choices one too many times)! So incredibly helpful and reassured us that there would be plenty of food to serve everyone. Nothing went to waste and the guests couldn't wait to get their hands on all the variety of items fast enough. For our first bite we cut into their pan of cinnamon rolls which were a HIT!! I originally just wanted pies but after seeing their display, I wanted it all! We received so many compliments about the dessert and asked where we ordered from by future bride and grooms! We can't thank the team enough for making our day so memorable and providing us with delicious dessert!

Alex and Zane did a wonderful job! My standards are *very* high when it comes to dessert, and these guys do not disappoint. Communication via email was really easy and I loved the flexibility when choosing items for our dessert table. I cannot wait to order again for a special occasion or even just pop into their shop for a little treat.
