Ristorante Di Pompello

We used Ristorante Di Pompello for our wedding catering at The Locks, and they were absolutely amazing. From the beginning, they were flexible, organized, responsive, and so easy to work with. The food was delicious, and we received multiple compliments from guests about how good everything was.

One thing we really appreciated was how willing they were to cater at The Locks. Several other caterers were either unwilling to travel outside of Portland or charged a huge additional fee to do so, but Di Pompello was not only happy to work with us, their pricing was also completely reasonable. For what we received, the value was incredibly generous.

We did a pasta buffet and had two tastings at the restaurant to narrow down our menu choices, which made the planning process feel really easy and thoughtful. Heidi, the catering director, was phenomenal. She was friendly, responsive, and checked in with us multiple times to make sure we felt prepared and to answer any questions we had.

We would highly recommend Ristorante Di Pompello to anyone looking for fantastic food at reasonable prices, with a team that truly goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience.

We got married on October 24th, 2025 and had Ristorante Di Pompello cater for us, and it was absolutely amazing! The process was extremely simple and straightforward. We did the tasting before we booked which was a lot of fun and helped us to determine which choices we wanted. Every single thing I have tasted from them is delicious! The contract is super easy to follow and the coordinator Heidi is very friendly and helpful when it comes to building your perfect menu.

Such nice and professional people. I didn't have to worry about them on the day of the wedding, because they had everything handled, and it turned out so perfect. The buffet is so good and works well for many different pallets and dietary restrictions which I really appreciated as well. If you are looking for some super yummy Italian food for your wedding, I would hands-down go with them they are great!

The food was delicious!! They worked with out dates. They were kind and patient with us. We highly recommend the lasagna!!

Really great option for a large wedding ! Very filling (didn't need to do apetizers for guests), affordable, easy to communicate with, and everything went perfectly! Very happy we chose to use them!

Had loved eating at their restaurant for years and when the time came to tie the knot we were so happy to choose them to provide the food and drink/bartend. Extremely helpful navigating their menu and what they could provide. Took all of our questions and changes in stride. A great price point for the quality of food you get and the service at our wedding was very professional and courteous.

Got married on 9/13/25, The food was amazing and the coordinator was very responsive and helped talk us through everything. All my guests couldn't stop talking about how great the food was and the attendants were all lovely. They even took advantage of our photo booth by the end of the night so it was a great surprise to see their photos! Had a good chunk of food left over and they packaged it up and our family was able to continue to enjoy it while we were on our honeymoon!

Heidi was excellent, responding very quickly to emails and providing very clear options so that we could decide what we wanted to do. She even went to our venue beforehand in order to tour it to ensure that the day of the wedding went smoothly. The food was also delicious and the price was extremely reasonable. We loved this caterer!! It was affordable as well as delicious. Everyone at the wedding went for seconds and we were bummed there were no leftovers. The manager Heidi was very responsive and willing to work with our venue complications. She also accommodated us for a second taste test to make sure we knew what we wanted. We can’t wait to visit for a future date night!

Great to work with before and during our wedding! Several guests (and the groom) told us that they were dreaming about the delicious shrimp gnocchi for days after!

We are so glad that we chose Ristorante Di Pompello to cater our wedding. The food was delicious, service was amazing, and the price was very reasonable.

We were especially impressed at how accommodating they were when it came to dietary restrictions. My wife and I are both vegan and wanted to have a vegan wedding, but were fully prepared to settle for a single vegan option to avoid paying an arm and a leg. When we asked about vegan options from Pompello, they told us they could make everything vegan, and would work with us to customize dishes to our exact preferences. They even made different vegan versions of the same dishes for us to try at the tasting so we could choose which was our favorite (multiple pestos, homemade vegan meatballs, you name it)! They really went out of their way to create our entire spread just for us, which was so far beyond our expectations. We ended up with an incredible spread of appetizers, a diverse pasta buffet, salads, bread, the works, all vegan and without having to pay extra!

Heidi was incredibly professional and helpful throughout the planning process and helped us figure out exactly what we wanted for our big day. We came in without much of an idea of what our needs were, and she guided us through the whole thing, made helpful suggestions, and made our job as easy as possible.
