My wife and I aren't big cake people but we absolutely love ice cream. Since we had a fair amount of dietary restrictions that can sometimes be hard but not with The Hop. They are pros in everyway when it comes to allergies. They were super easy to work with to get our flavors picked out. We ended up with a nice spread of dairy and vegan ice creams (one was a lime mint sorbet which I highly recommend to all couples).

Ashely was amazing and having an ice cream wedding cake was such a unique touch to our special day. She was super helpful in picking delicious flavors (there’s so many to choose from) and organizing the logistics of delivering and serving an ice cream cake. Our guests were blown away, and we were too!

We were SO excited to be able to serve ice cream at our wedding! Ice cream is one of my favorite desserts so I wanted to able to incorporate it into our wedding. We did a tasting with my husband and parents at The Hop the year before the wedding. Ashley was so wonderful and let us try close to 10 different flavors - I think I probably ate a pint of ice cream that day! We chose a variety of flavors to serve at our wedding, including a beer flavored ice cream that was served at our brewery welcome dinner. We had many guests with dietary needs, including sugar free, gluten free, and vegan - The Hop was able to accommodate our preferences so every single guest could enjoy dessert. The staff at our event were very kind and professional. It started lightly raining halfway during the reception and they moved their cart inside with no issue. We felt like the ice cream was a great price and value. Do not hesitate to hire The Hop as a dessert option for your wedding! We plan to stop in to The Hop during all future visits to Asheville.

I can't rave enough about their ice cream. Just fantastic and delicious. We had pie and ice cream at our wedding on August 6, 2016, and weeks later we are still getting comments on how delicious the ice cream was (the pie too). The Hop was so accommodating -- same price for one flavor or 7. We had ginger, expresso, vanilla, and they made ice cream from Highland Brewing Company's (our venue) mocha stout. It was so delicious. Highly recommend!

The Hop provided multiple flavors of ice cream for us for our wedding. They were PHENOMENAL to work with. The gave us multiple flavors to test out, for free, to see what we would prefer. they were also really great at helping us come up with 4 different types of flavors that would go well together. Everyone at the wedding LOVED the ice cream and luckily we had some left over to take home with us :)
